Getting a bird to a vet appointment or bringing one along on an outdoor outing calls for a carrier that can be carried as a backpack and lets the bird see beyond its enclosure. The Halinfer combines a clear viewing area with access openings and a set of interior accessories. Its black backpack format is intended for carrying birds, with the product positioned especially for children carrying their birds.

Which birds is the Halinfer backpack carrier for?

The carrier is intended for small to medium-sized parrots, including parakeets, budgies, conures and cockatiels. Its clear front bubble window gives a bird a view of its surroundings while traveling to the vet or on an outdoor adventure. The product is also presented for reptiles, bearded dragons, guinea pigs, small kittens and bunnies; the stated bird sizing applies specifically to small and medium birds.

How does a bird get in and out?

A front zip opening and a separate side access window give you two access points. The openings are designed to make entry and exit more convenient, and the carrier is intended to be easy to train a bird to use. Introduce the carrier as part of preparing for travel, such as a vet visit or an outdoor outing.

• Front opening closes with a zipper.
• Side window provides an additional access point.

What comes with the bird backpack?

The set includes the backpack carrier, a bendable rope stand perch, a stainless steel plate and a washable soft mat for replacement. These are the included components for setting up the carrier interior; the mat is washable, so it can be cleaned for reuse.

• One stainless steel plate and one washable replacement mat.

How large is the carrier?

The backpack measures 7 in (17.8 cm) deep and 12.5 in (31.8 cm) wide and high. Compare those dimensions with the space your animal needs before choosing the carrier. The product description also uses an official size 7 basketball as an interior size reference; this is a comparison point, not a stated animal-capacity rating.
