For training sessions and interactive play, a compact tug can make a convenient high-value reward to bring along. This pocket-sized design combines a bite area, ball and flexible handle in one toy, with features intended for tugging, throwing and bouncing.

What comes with the Pocket PowerBall tug toy?

The toy brings together a faux-fur bite area, a rubber PowerBall and a bungee handle. The handle uses climbing-grade webbing alongside two strands of bungee cord, while the ball is designed by Tug-E-Nuff’s in-house training and play experts and made exclusively for the brand.

• The toy has a pink pattern.
• The Complete Guide To Tug covers training, playing and winning with your Tug-E-Nuff toy.

What is the PowerBall like for dogs?

The rubber PowerBall has easy-grip grooves and a dual texture designed to provide canine sensory stimulation. It can be tugged, bounced and thrown, and its weight is intended for throwing. The ball is non-toxic and non-abrasive; conventional tennis balls are often made with glass fibres that can be dangerous.

• Each PowerBall has a blue outer shell, a colour dogs see best.
• Three core colours are available across the PowerBall range.

How does the bungee handle work during tugging?

The handle’s two bungee strands are designed to reduce jarring for both the dog and the person holding the toy. Climbing-grade webbing forms part of the handle, and Tug-E-Nuff’s UK-based team of skilled sewing machinists hand finishes the toy.

• The compact format is made for use as a high-value reward.
• The PowerBall is designed and manufactured exclusively for Tug-E-Nuff.

This toy suits handlers looking for a compact tug reward for training and shared play, with a ball that can also be thrown or bounced. Its 11.4 in (29 cm) format combines the bite area, ball and bungee handle in one toy.
