Race&Herd 18-Inch Herding Ball Replacement Cover, Zip Sleeve Only

The Race&Herd 18-inch replacement cover is a zip-on outer sleeve for refreshing the Small 18-inch Race&Herd herding ball without replacing its inner ball.

• Made for the Small 18-inch Race&Herd herding ball — choose this sleeve for that exact ball size.
• Outer zip sleeve only — reuse the inner ball when it is still in usable condition.
• Fabric zipper flap — covers the zip to help keep it closed during pushing and shouldering.
• Designed for a firm inner ball inflated to 2–3 PSI — gives the sleeve its intended setup.
• For supervised herding play, not chewing — use it with active play in mind.

An outer sleeve can wear through during repeated herding play even when the inner ball usually remains intact. This replacement lets you swap the worn cover rather than automatically replacing the whole ball set. It is made for dogs that push, chase, and shoulder a herding ball during play, exercise, or training.

Which ball does this replacement cover fit?

It fits the Small 18-inch (45.72 cm) Race&Herd herding ball only. Each cover is cut to one size, so compare the size of your ball with the cover size before choosing; an 18-inch cover will not fit another size. The product is the sleeve, not a complete ball set.

• Compatible ball: Race&Herd Small 18-inch herding ball.
• The inner ball and pump are not included.

Why replace the cover instead of the whole ball?

The cover can be replaced when the outer sleeve wears through, while the inner ball usually has not. Changing just the sleeve helps keep an otherwise usable inner ball in play and costs a fraction of replacing a new set. Check the condition of the inner ball before fitting the replacement.

• Replacement part: outer sleeve.
• Intended for extending the use of an existing Race&Herd herding ball.

How should the cover be used during play?

Fit it over a firm inner ball inflated to 2–3 PSI, then supervise your dog during herding play. A fabric flap sits over the zipper to help keep it closed as the ball is pushed and shouldered. Keep the ball out of direct heat.

• Use for herding play only.
• Do not use as a chew toy.
• Supervise play and keep the ball away from direct heat.

This replacement is suited to owners whose Small 18-inch Race&Herd ball has a worn outer sleeve and an inner ball they can continue using. It is a cover-only replacement for supervised herding play, not a complete ball or a chew toy.
