Dogs with a strong drive to chase and herd need activities that engage both body and mind. This ball is made for active outdoor sessions, whether your dog is playing independently or working with you on recall and obedience. The design gives owners a way to turn movement and focus into a shared training activity.

What is the MoofeePaws herding ball designed to do?

It encourages dogs to run, push, circle, and maneuver the ball, creating a physical challenge alongside mental engagement. It is intended for Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, and other high-drive working breeds. The activity is designed to help channel herding behavior and can support a more settled, satisfied dog after play.

• Encourages movement that can support cardiovascular fitness, muscle development, and healthy weight maintenance.
• Promotes pushing and running as a joint-friendly form of activity.
• Can be used as a reward during recall or obedience training to build focus and impulse control.

How can I use the ball for play and training?

Roll it out and let your dog take the lead, or use the handles to guide it during interactive play. No batteries, charger, or complicated setup are needed. Sessions can be solo or shared, making the ball useful for exercise as well as practicing cues with your dog.

• Use it to encourage chasing, circling, and pushing.
• Bring it into recall or obedience practice as a play reward.
• Supervise play; no dog toy is completely indestructible.

What should I know about the material and care?

The ball is made from tough, non-toxic PVC and has a smooth, seamless exterior. Its construction is intended to withstand forceful biting, kicking, and rolling, while the continuous surface has no sharp edges or small parts designed to break away. The 22-inch size is made for medium to large dogs; supervise use, especially with powerful chewers.

• Clean with soap and water, or hose it off after muddy play.
• Built-in handles make carrying and guided play easier.
• Suitable outdoor surfaces include grass, dirt, and pavement.

MoofeePaws suits owners of active, chase-driven dogs who want an outdoor activity that combines movement, instinctive play, and opportunities for training. It is sized for medium to large dogs and provides a simple, handle-equipped way to encourage herding-style play.
