Veehoo Squirrel-Proof Suet Feeder, Two-Cake Capacity and 28% Wider Perch

Veehoo Squirrel Proof Suet Feeder is an outdoor hanging feeder designed to give multiple birds room to feed while limiting squirrel and raccoon access, with a perch 28% wider than standard caged suet feeders and space for two cakes.

• Perching platform is 28% wider than standard caged suet feeders — gives multiple birds room to land together.
• Dual-layer, full-metal mesh cage with 1.5 inch (3.81 cm) openings — lets suitable birds reach food while restricting squirrels and raccoons.
• An 11.6 inch (29.46 cm) top baffle, anti-rust powder coating, and nine drainage holes — help protect the feeder and food through changing weather.
• Two separate suet-cake compartments — hold two cakes at once and reduce refill trips roughly in half compared with a single-cake feeder.
• Lift-off side hooks and a swing-open lid — make the compartments accessible for refilling and the mesh easy to rinse.

For backyard bird feeding, a single small landing area or frequent refills can make it harder to keep food available to visiting birds. Veehoo combines an expanded perch, a caged food area, and room for two cakes in one hanging feeder for outdoor use.

Can multiple birds perch on the Veehoo suet feeder at once?

Yes. Its perching platform is 28% wider than standard caged suet feeders, giving woodpeckers, nuthatches, and chickadees room to land at the same time rather than waiting for a turn. The open perch is designed around shared access to the feeder.

• Named bird visitors include woodpeckers, nuthatches, and chickadees.
• The wider platform is intended for multiple birds to perch together.

How does the cage limit access to the suet?

The food compartment is surrounded by a dual-layer, full-metal mesh cage with 1.5 inch (3.81 cm) precision openings. The openings allow the named bird species to reach the food while being too narrow for squirrels or raccoons to reach inside. An 11.6 inch (29.46 cm) top baffle blocks sun, rain, and snow; an anti-rust powder coating and nine base drainage holes support outdoor use through the seasons.

• The baffle sits above the caged food compartment.
• Drainage holes are positioned in the base.

How many cakes fit, and how do you refill and clean it?

Veehoo holds two suet cakes in separate compartments, reducing refill trips roughly in half compared with a single-cake feeder. Suet cakes and seed cakes fit the same chambers, each measuring 4.7 x 4.7 x 1.6 inch (11.94 x 11.94 x 4.06 cm). To access them, lift off the two side hooks and swing the lid open; both compartments are exposed for refilling.

• The open design allows the mesh cage to be rinsed without disassembly.
• Refilling and cleaning require no tools.

Veehoo suits bird watchers who want a hanging outdoor feeder with room for several birds and two cakes, plus a caged food compartment designed to restrict squirrel and raccoon access. Its wider perch, separate cake chambers, and open-for-cleaning design bring these needs together in one feeder.
