A worn scratching post can leave a cat tree without the surface a cat regularly uses to scratch and stretch. This replacement is intended to refresh existing indoor cat furniture, so the tree can continue to provide a designated place for those activities. Choosing a correctly sized post matters: cat-tree posts and their attachment hardware are not universal, and matching the existing setup is essential for a proper fit.

How do I check whether this replacement fits my cat tree?

Compare your existing post and its attachment hardware with this replacement before purchase. Remove the current post and measure its full length from end to end, then check its diameter. The length and diameter must match, and the bolt size, bolt length and thread type must also correspond.

• Measure the existing post from end to end.
• Compare the post diameter and all three hardware details.
• Use the stated dimensions as the reference for the replacement.

What is the TRIXIE replacement post designed for?

It provides a sisal-wrapped surface for indoor cats to scratch, stretch and play. Scratching offers an outlet for cats’ natural scratching instincts and can help keep their claws freshly manicured. Replacing a worn post can also refresh an existing cat tree without replacing the entire piece of cat furniture.

• Suitable for refreshing compatible indoor cat trees and towers.
• Provides a designated surface for everyday scratching activity.

What should I know about using this replacement post?

This is a replacement part for specific cat-tree configurations, rather than a universal scratching post. Once the measurements and hardware match, it can be fitted in place of the existing post to restore the scratching area. The listed model number is 43992.

• Check compatibility with the existing tree before fitting.
• Match the bolt size, length and thread type exactly.
• Intended for use as part of compatible indoor cat furniture.

This post suits cat owners who want to refresh compatible indoor cat furniture and maintain a dedicated place for scratching, stretching and play. It is intended for a matching cat-tree configuration, with fit determined by the post measurements and attachment hardware.
