Sieral Undergravel Aquarium Filter, 24 Modular Plates for 208–284 L Tanks

Sieral Undergravel Aquarium Filter is a modular filtration system for 55–75 gallon fish tanks, with 24 plates that can be arranged to suit the tank layout.

• Modular PVC grid plates — combine the pieces into rows or other layouts to suit the tank floor.
• Four adjustable lift tubes, 12.6–20.08 inches (32–51 cm) long — adapt the tube height to different tank depths.
• Four straight air tubes — included as part of the filtration setup.
• One customizable activated-carbon filter sponge — helps filter impurities from aquarium water.
• Black plates made from PVC — designed for under-gravel placement and slight submersion.

Maintaining water circulation and a clean substrate matters in larger aquariums, especially those housing large fish or marine species. This undergravel filter brings its plates, tubes, and filter sponge together as a configurable system, so the filtration layout can be adapted to the tank rather than relying on one fixed plate arrangement.

How can the plates be arranged in a tank?

The 24 plates measure about 5.7 × 5.7 inches (14.5 × 14.5 cm) each and can be assembled in three rows of eight or combined in another layout. The PVC grid allows filter media types to be separated and combined, helping optimize water flow and substrate stability. The design is intended for most 55–75 gallon aquariums and is suited to large fish such as Arowanas and marine species.

• Each plate is black PVC with a stated measure of about 5.7 × 5.7 inches.
• The plates can be freely combined to fit different tank-floor layouts.
• The grid design supports water circulation and a clean substrate environment.

What comes with the Sieral undergravel filter?

The set contains 24 undergravel plates, four adjustable lift tubes, four straight air tubes, and one customizable activated-carbon filter sponge. The included components are designed to work together for filtration across different aquarium setups. The sponge measures 4 × 4 inches (10.16 × 10.16 cm) and helps filter impurities.

• Four lift tubes adjust from about 12.6 to 20.08 inches (32–51 cm).
• The larger tubes measure about 0.87 inches (2.21 cm) in diameter; the smaller tubes measure about 0.79 inches (2.01 cm).
• The activated-carbon sponge can be customized for the setup.

What does the filter help with?

The under-gravel layout is designed to enhance water circulation and help maintain a clean substrate environment. Its activated-carbon sponge helps filter impurities, while the modular grid lets users separate and combine filter media types. The PVC plates have good toughness and are designed for long-term use in an aquarium; they are intended to sit slightly submerged.

• The filter combines grid plates, lift tubes, straight air tubes, and a carbon sponge.
• The plate layout supports substrate stability while allowing water flow through the filtration setup.
• The design is made for large aquatic species, including Arowanas and marine species.

Sieral Undergravel Aquarium Filter suits aquarium keepers setting up a 55–75 gallon tank for large fish or marine species who want a configurable under-gravel filtration layout. Its 24 modular PVC plates, adjustable tubes, and included activated-carbon sponge make up a system designed to support water circulation and a clean substrate.
