Parrots need opportunities to engage in natural chewing and climbing behaviors, and these toys are made for use in a bird’s cage. Their bright colors are designed to draw a parrot’s attention, while the varied materials and knots offer different features to explore. Individual birds have their own preferences, so observe how your parrot responds and follow its habits.

Which birds are these 20-inch toys made for?

They are intended for medium and large birds, including African greys, cockatoos, macaws and a variety of Amazon parrots. Each toy is about 20 in (50.8 cm) long, offering an elevated place to chew and climb inside a suitable cage. The set contains three toys, so there are multiple pieces for your bird to engage with.

• Suitable bird groups include African greys, cockatoos, macaws and Amazon parrots.
• The package weighs 4.8 lb (2.18 kg).

What materials and play features do the toys have?

Each handmade toy uses wood, cotton and stainless steel, with food-grade color. Cotton rope and natural wood create chewable elements, and the knots give birds something to untie as they play. The toys are intended to support chewing activity and the product’s stated dental-care purpose.

• The colorful finish uses food coloring and may attract a parrot’s attention quickly.
• The toys are consumable: a parrot’s biting force is stronger than a human’s, so wear is part of their use.

How do you hang the toys, and what should you know about the color?

An active hook at the top of each toy attaches to the top of a pet cage for hanging. The hook is designed for easy installation in almost any cage; make sure the cage top can accept a hanging hook. The toys can also serve as colorful decoration on a cage or wall, and are intended to provide hours of play each day.

• Food coloring can fade when exposed to water.
• Birds may respond differently to the toy, so take your parrot’s individual habits into account.

RUBY.Q Large Parrot Toys suit bird owners looking for hanging chew-and-climb activities for medium or large parrots, particularly African greys, cockatoos, macaws and Amazon parrots. They are consumable toys, and each bird’s interest may vary. The set pairs three handmade, colorful toys with a top hook for cage hanging.
