PetSafe Busy Buddy Kibble Nibble Dog Toy, Medium/Large Slow Feeder

PetSafe Busy Buddy Kibble Nibble is a treat-dispensing dog toy and slow feeder for dogs over 20 lb (9.1 kg), holding up to 3.5 cups (about 828 mL) of kibble or treats.

• Holds up to 3.5 cups of food — offers a way to serve kibble through play.
• Patented Treat Meter — randomly releases dry food or treats as your dog rolls the toy.
• Flexible prongs can be trimmed — adjust the dispensing flow to suit your dog.
• Made for dogs over 20 lb — sized for medium and large dogs.
• Top-rack dishwasher safe — makes routine cleaning easier.

For dogs that eat quickly or need more engagement around mealtime, this toy turns kibble or treats into a rolling, dispensing activity. It is also made for dogs who enjoy chewing and for owners looking for a food-based way to encourage play. PetSafe says the treat-dispensing play can provide hours of activity and help reduce stress.

How does the Kibble Nibble dispense food?

The patented Treat Meter releases kibble or treats at random as your dog moves the toy across the floor. Its flexible prongs can be trimmed to increase the flow, allowing you to adjust how readily food comes out. The toy is designed for dry food and treats.

• Random dispensing makes food come out during play rather than all at once.
• Trim the flexible prongs to increase food flow.

Can it work as a slow feeder?

Yes, the Kibble Nibble can serve as a slow feeder for dogs that eat too quickly, and it may help dogs who need support managing their weight. Its capacity is up to 3.5 cups of food, so it can hold a meal-sized portion for some dogs; the amount will depend on the food and your dog’s serving needs.

• Use kibble or treats as the dispensing contents.
• Rolling the toy makes eating part of an active play session.

Which dogs is this size for, and how do you use it?

This medium/large version is designed for dogs over 20 lb. To fill it, twist the two sides apart, add kibble or treats to one side, then twist the halves back together. Good to know: the size guidance is based on your dog’s weight, and this version is intended for dogs above that threshold.

• The two halves twist apart for filling and twist back together for play.
• Clean the toy on the top rack of a dishwasher.
• Made for dogs who chew; supervise your dog during play.
