PetriStor Large Dog Basket Muzzle, Size 6, Chrome Wire with Adjustable Leather Straps

PetriStor’s chrome metal wire basket muzzle is designed to help prevent biting and chewing in large dogs while allowing panting, drinking, and small treats.

• Adjustable leather straps — help secure the muzzle’s fit.
• Steel wire basket — leaves room for panting, drinking, and small treats.
• Soft padding and airflow — help prevent chafing and irritation.
• Chrome metal construction — provides a steel muzzle for large dogs.
• Grooming and outdoor use — supports handling in these settings.

A muzzle can be useful during grooming and outdoor activities when biting needs to be prevented. This basket-style design leaves the dog able to pant and drink, with room for small treats, while its fit is adjusted with leather straps. Its stated fit range makes it important to compare your dog’s snout measurements before choosing.

What can a dog do while wearing this basket muzzle?

The open wire basket allows panting and drinking, and leaves space for small treats. PetriStor’s muzzle is designed to help prevent biting and chewing, making it suitable for situations such as grooming and outdoor activities. The basket format keeps the muzzle open rather than covering the snout with a solid surface.

• Designed for large dogs.
• Allows small treats through the basket.

How do I check whether the muzzle will fit?

PetriStor’s muzzle fits a snout circumference of 13–13.8 in (33.0–35.1 cm) and a snout length of 3.9–4.3 in (9.9–10.9 cm). Measure your dog’s snout and compare both measurements with these ranges; the adjustable straps help secure the fit. Good to know: both circumference and length matter when checking fit.

• Snout circumference range: 13–13.8 in (33.0–35.1 cm).
• Snout length range: 3.9–4.3 in (9.9–10.9 cm).

What features support comfort during wear?

PetriStor’s muzzle combines soft padding with airflow through its wire basket. These features are intended to help prevent chafing and irritation while the dog wears the muzzle. The adjustable leather straps provide a way to set the fit for the dog within the stated snout-size range.

• Soft padding is included in the muzzle design.
• The basket construction provides ventilation.

This muzzle is suited to large dogs whose snout measurements fall within the stated ranges, particularly for grooming or outdoor activities where bite prevention is needed. Its steel basket allows panting, drinking, and small treats while the adjustable leather straps help secure the fit.
