Havniva Ceramic Slow Feeder Dog Bowl, 7.3-Inch Maze Design for Small Breeds

Havniva’s 7.3 in (18.5 cm) ceramic slow feeder dog bowl is designed for small breeds, using a maze-patterned surface to help slow fast eating.

• Meal-lengthening ridges and a maze pattern — designed to slow eating time by 10 times.
• Food-grade ceramic that is lead-free, cadmium-free and non-toxic — for serving dog food in a glazed bowl.
• A heavier ceramic body and a bottom ring of non-slip padding — help keep the bowl from sliding or tipping during meals.
• A smooth, stain-resistant glazed finish — supports straightforward cleanup after feeding.
• Rinse with water or place in the dishwasher — two simple cleaning options.

For dogs that eat quickly, a regular open bowl offers little to interrupt a fast meal. Havniva’s ridged feeding surface creates a more involved route to the food, making this bowl suited to everyday meals for small-breed dogs and owners looking to encourage a slower eating habit.

How does the bowl slow down eating?

The raised ridges and maze layout make dogs work around the patterned surface to reach their food. This design is intended to lengthen meal time and help address concerns associated with rapid eating, including regurgitation, choking, indigestion and overeating.

• The maze pattern interrupts a direct, open path to the food.
• The bowl is designed to support a steadier eating habit over time.

What is the bowl made of, and how do you clean it?

It is made from food-grade ceramic with a glazed surface. The ceramic is lead-free, cadmium-free and non-toxic; the smooth glaze is stain-resistant and can be rinsed with water or cleaned in a dishwasher.

• The glazed finish provides a smooth surface for routine washing.
• Dishwasher cleaning is an available care option.

Will it stay in place while a dog eats?

The ceramic bowl is heavier than a plastic bowl and has a ring of non-slip padding on its base. These features are designed to help limit sliding and tipping, reducing the chance of kibble scattering across the floor. Ceramic is also chew-resistant compared with plastic, which can crack into pieces when bitten.

• The padded ring is fitted around the bottom of the bowl.
• The ceramic construction cannot be bitten through like plastic, helping avoid sharp plastic fragments.

Is the 7.3-inch bowl intended for small dogs?

Yes. Havniva makes this slow feeder for small-breed dogs, and its stated size is 7.3 in (18.5 cm). Use that measurement when deciding whether the bowl suits your dog’s feeding setup.

• Designed for small breeds.
• Maze-style feeding surface is part of the bowl itself.

This bowl is best suited to small-breed dogs that eat quickly and to owners who want a ceramic feeder with a patterned eating surface and simple cleaning options. Its 7.3 in size, meal-lengthening maze and non-slip padded base bring those features together in one dog bowl.
