Which heat setting should I use for everyday comfort?

For everyday pet comfort, use the 86°F or 104°F (30°C or 40°C) setting. The pad has three heat settings: 86°F, 104°F and 122°F (30°C, 40°C and 50°C). The 122°F (50°C) option is intended for faster preheating or very cold sheltered spaces; switch to a lower setting for a long resting period. The heating design aims to keep the surface at or below 104°F (40°C) for everyday use, while the higher setting serves a different, limited purpose.

• The overheat shut-off activates at 149°F (65°C).

Where can I place the GooCare pet heating pad?

Place the flat pad in a cat or dog bed, beneath a thin cushion, or in a crate, kennel, carrier or sheltered cat house. It can also be used in an RV, camper, hotel, cabin, van, tent or sheltered outdoor pet house. In open air, warmth dissipates quickly, so the pad may feel only slightly warm. For a closer indication of the warmth under a cover, place a blanket over it for 20 minutes.

• For stronger heating, use a stable USB power source rated at 5V/2A or higher; lower-output sources may not heat properly.
