Parrots need opportunities to stay occupied, move, and explore. This toy brings together pullable metal cups and chewable wooden rings, with sounds and textures that invite interaction during cage time. It is designed for larger birds that benefit from a toy suited to their size and strength.

What can a parrot do with this toy?

Birds can pull at the cups and chew or shred the natural wooden rings. The rings are intended to encourage these behaviors and may help trim a bird’s beak, while contact between stainless steel parts creates sounds during play.

The combination offers more than one kind of sensory activity: chewing and shredding engage the beak, and the sound of the metal parts can prompt curiosity. The toy is designed to encourage activity and engagement and to help address boredom and destructive behaviors.

• Wooden rings are natural and dye-free.
• Metal parts make sound when they bump together.

What materials and hanging hardware does it use?

GILYGI makes this parrot toy with stainless steel, natural wood, and cotton rope, and it hangs in the cage using a stainless steel safety buckle.

The upgraded chain and ring buckle are intended to improve durability. The materials and hardware let the toy hang in the cage while the bird interacts with its separate components.

• No glue, wire, rivets, or plastic are used.
• The stainless steel buckle is the hanging attachment.

Which birds is this toy sized for?

At 21.6 × 5.9 in (54.9 × 15 cm), it is recommended for medium to extra-large parrots, including Macaws, Amazons, African Greys, Cockatoos, and Eclectus.

Its size is intended to meet the engagement needs of larger birds. Compare the toy’s dimensions with the space available in the cage before hanging it.

• Suitable for similarly sized pet birds as well as the named parrot types.
• Made with larger birds’ size and strength in mind.

This GILYGI toy suits parrot owners looking for a cage-hung activity that combines pulling, chewing, shredding, and sound-based exploration. It is sized and recommended for medium, large, and extra-large birds rather than being presented as a toy for every bird size.
