Fluval Bug Bites Cichlid Food, 3-Pack for Small and Medium Fish, Slow-Sinking Granules

Fluval Bug Bites Cichlid Formula is a slow-sinking daily food for small and medium cichlids, made in 1.4–1.6 mm granules for feeding at different depths.

• Three bottles, each containing 1.6 oz (45 g) of food — provides a multi-bottle supply.
• Black soldier fly larvae make up to 40% of the formula and are its first ingredient — puts an insect protein source at the forefront.
• Whole salmon supplies Omega 3 and 6 — nutrients associated with healthy skin, scales, fins and color.
• Essential vitamins, minerals, amino acids and trace nutrients — contribute to a balanced daily diet.
• No artificial colors or preservatives — keeps those additives out of the formula.

For cichlids, a daily food needs to provide more than a single protein source. Fluval Bug Bites combines insect-based protein with whole salmon and added nutrients in a granule format. It is made for small and medium fish, with slow-sinking pieces suited to fish that feed at different levels of the aquarium.

What is Fluval Bug Bites Cichlid Formula made to provide?

It is formulated as a balanced daily food for small and medium cichlids, combining multiple protein sources with added nutrients. Black soldier fly larvae are the number-one ingredient and account for up to 40% of the formula. Whole salmon adds another protein source and is rich in Omega 3 and 6, included for healthy skin, scales, fins and color.

• Multiple protein sources, including black soldier fly larvae and whole salmon.
• Essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals and other trace nutrients.

How do the granules work for fish that feed at different depths?

The food comes in slow-sinking granules measuring 1.4–1.6 mm, so fish can feed at their preferred depth. This format is intended to suit feeding across aquarium levels while remaining sized for the small and medium cichlids the formula is made for.

• Slow-sinking format rather than a fast-sinking food.
• Granule size: 1.4–1.6 mm.

How much food comes in the three-pack?

The pack contains three bottles, with 1.6 oz (45 g) of food in each bottle. The three-bottle format keeps the same cichlid formula together as a set; each bottle contains the granules for daily feeding.

• Three individual bottles.
• 1.6 oz (45 g) per bottle.

Fluval Bug Bites Cichlid Formula is suited to aquarists feeding small or medium cichlids a daily food that combines insect and salmon proteins with added nutrients. Its small, slow-sinking granules are made for feeding at different depths, rather than for fish outside the stated size range.
