Encompass All Pond and Aquarium Filter Pad, 12 x 72 in Blue/White Dual-Layer

Encompass All Classic Bonded Dual-Layer Filter Pad is cut-to-fit filter media for ponds and aquariums, with blue-and-white dual-density construction to capture floating debris and particulates.

• 12 x 72 in (30.48 x 182.88 cm) sheet — trim it to fit your filtration compartment.
• Thickness ranges from 0.75 to 1 in (1.905 to 2.54 cm) — accommodates the pad’s packaging compression.
• For freshwater and marine aquariums — suited to different aquarium setups.
• Open resilient fiber weave — lets water pass through while catching debris and helping prevent premature clogging.
• Can be combined with micron, carbon, nitrate-reducer, and ammonia-reducing pads — add it to a multi-pad filtration setup.

Floating debris and solid organic matter can affect aquarium water clarity. This bonded filter pad is made to catch unwanted material as water moves through a filtration compartment, including in wet/dry filters, sumps, and aquaponic systems. Its large sheet can be cut to match the space available, so it works for filtration layouts that need a custom-sized pad.

What does the filter pad capture?

The pad traps both large and small particulates as water passes through its open network of resilient fibers. Catching solid organic compounds before they break down is intended to help maintain water quality and limit the rise of ammonia and nitrate levels. Regularly changing the pad supports this filtration role.

• Made to collect floating debris and suspended particulates.
• Open fiber construction provides a path for water flow while filtering unwanted material.

Can I cut it to fit my filter?

Yes, the bonded sheet can be cut to the size of your filtration compartment. Its full size is 12 x 72 in (30.48 x 182.88 cm); measure the space where you plan to place it before trimming. The pad’s thickness ranges from 0.75 to 1 in (1.905 to 2.54 cm) because packaging compresses it.

• Use it in wet/dry filters, sumps, or aquaponic systems.
• Pair it with other micron, carbon, nitrate-reducer, or ammonia-reducing pads.

How should I position the pad?

Place it in the path of flowing water with the blue side facing up. Water moves through the bonded fibers while the pad captures debris and particulates, making placement within the filtration compartment part of its use.

• Orient the blue side upward.
• Change the pad regularly to remove collected solid organic compounds before they break down.

This pad suits aquarium and pond keepers who want a large sheet of filter media that can be trimmed for their filtration compartment, including those using wet/dry filters, sumps, or aquaponic systems. It is designed for mechanical debris and particulate capture as water flows through the pad, with a cut-to-fit format for custom filtration spaces.
