This cage accessory combines a soft resting spot with a wooden standing surface, giving birds a place to settle while also supporting nesting and breeding behaviors. Its removable design makes it practical for changing seasons and regular cleaning. It is sized for small-to-medium birds and can also suit small pets such as hamsters and mice.

Which birds and pets is this nest designed for?

The medium nest is intended for small-to-medium birds, including budgies, cockatiels, sun conures, green-cheeked conures, caiques and parakeets, as well as small pets such as hamsters and mice. The plush pad measures 2.55 in (6.5 cm) high, with an inner diameter of 4.33 in (11 cm) and an outer diameter of 7.48 in (19 cm). Compare these measurements with the available space inside your cage when choosing a spot.

• Designed as a cage resting place and perch platform.
• Grey colour; medium size.

How does the removable pad work?

The plush bird cushion is secured to the wooden board with nylon ropes and can be removed for cleaning. Its high-density plush fabric feels gentle against the bird and helps retain body heat, making the padded nest suited to cold-weather resting. The pad supports nesting and breeding behaviors, while regular washing helps maintain nest hygiene.

• Wash the removable pad by hand or in a washing machine.
• Remove the cushion to expose the wooden perch surface for standing and play in warmer weather.

What is included, and how does it attach to the cage?

The set includes the plush nest pad, a round wooden perch platform, nylon rope, metal washers, screws and nuts. The hardware allows the platform to be attached inside a cage. The wooden base is 7.87 in (20 cm) across and 0.47 in (1.2 cm) thick, with a thickened round design intended to provide a weight-bearing perch surface.

• Attach the platform inside the cage using the included rope and fasteners.
• With the pad removed, the wooden base serves as a standing and play area.

DBNESS suits bird owners looking for a compact cage resting place that combines a heat-retaining plush cushion with a removable perch surface, and it can also be used by small pets such as hamsters and mice. Its removable, washable pad and included cage-attachment hardware make it a practical choice for a resting nest that can change from a padded bed to an exposed wooden perch.
