The Cat Mate Elite Microchip Cat Door with Timer Control is a battery-powered entry door for small-to-medium cats, with microchip recognition and four-way timer-controlled locking.

• Lets all cats exit while admitting only recognized cats — helps keep neighbourhood cats outside.
• Stores multiple microchip IDs — accommodates multi-cat households.
• Programmable four-way timer-controlled locking — lets you set access times, including indoor time overnight.
• Battery-powered operation — avoids mains wiring.

For homes where cats need different access from visiting or neighbourhood cats, this door combines microchip recognition with timer-controlled locking. It is designed for small-to-medium cats and can be installed in doors, panels and selected walls using compatible accessories.

How does microchip-controlled entry work?

The door reads your cat’s existing microchip and permits recognized cats to enter, while allowing all cats to exit freely. Because it stores multiple microchip IDs, it can serve homes with more than one cat without requiring a collar for access. This selective entry can help prevent neighbourhood cats from coming inside while allowing your own cat to return.

• Uses your cat’s existing microchip for recognition.
• Allows unrestricted exit for cats.
• Stores IDs for multiple cats.

What size cat and opening is it designed for?

• Overall dimensions: 9¾ in (248 mm) W × 10⅜ in (265 mm) H.
• Cut-out dimensions: 7¹⁄₁₆ in (178 mm) W × 8¹⁄₁₆ in (204 mm) H.

How do the timer and installation work?

A programmable timer controls the door’s four-way locking, so you can set access times to support household routines or keep cats indoors overnight. The battery-powered design operates without mains wiring. Installation is possible in doors, panels and selected walls when compatible accessories are used.

• Timer-controlled locking offers four-way operation.
