The white Cat Mate Elite I.D. Disc Cat Flap is an electronic entry-and-exit flap for managing cats’ outdoor access, with timer control and access for up to 9 cats.

• Works with unique Pet Mate I.D. discs for up to 9 cats — helps keep unwanted animals out.
• Timer control and a four-way lock — lets you set when cats can enter or leave.
• LCD display for up to 3 selected cats — shows lock status, cat location and time since last use.
• Brush-sealed flap and magnetic closure — help provide draught and weather protection.
• Defined flap and cut-out dimensions — make it possible to compare the opening with your installation space.

This electronic cat flap is made for households that want to control when cats can go out or come in, rather than leave a standard flap freely accessible. Its disc-based entry and exit, timer and lock settings provide options for different routines, including keeping cats indoors at night. The display also gives at-a-glance information about selected cats and the flap’s current status.

How does the I.D. disc entry and timer control work?

The flap operates with unique Pet Mate I.D. discs, allowing access for up to 9 cats while helping keep unwanted animals outside. Use the timer to control access, or choose a setting on the four-way lock: in/out, in only, out only or locked. These options let you manage entry and exit according to your household’s routine.

• Choose whether cats can enter, leave, do both or neither.
• Use the timer when you want access controlled at particular times, including at night.
• The LCD shows entry/exit lock status, the cat’s location and time since the flap was last used for up to 3 selected cats.

What opening size does the Cat Mate Elite I.D. Disc Cat Flap need?

The flap opening measures 5 11/16 in (145 mm) wide by 5 11/16 in (145 mm) high, and the required cut-out is 7 1/16 in (178 mm) wide by 8 1/16 in (204 mm) high. Compare the cut-out dimensions with your intended installation area, and consider the opening dimensions when checking fit for your cat. The overall flap measures 9 3/4 in (248 mm) wide by 10 3/8 in (265 mm) high.

• Cut-out: 7 1/16 in (178 mm) W x 8 1/16 in (204 mm) H.
• Flap opening: 5 11/16 in (145 mm) W x 5 11/16 in (145 mm) H.
• Overall size: 9 3/4 in (248 mm) W x 10 3/8 in (265 mm) H.

Does the flap help limit draughts and weather exposure?

Yes. A full brush seal around the flap and a magnetic closure help provide insulation and protection against weather. This makes the design suited to homes where the flap is exposed to outdoor conditions, while the closure helps keep the flap shut when it is not in use.

• Brush sealing runs around the flap.
• A magnetic closure helps hold the flap closed.

The Cat Mate Elite I.D. Disc Cat Flap suits homes with cats that need controlled entry and exit, especially households using timed access or monitoring the status of selected cats. Its disc entry, adjustable lock choices, display and specified opening dimensions make it a fit for buyers who want access control alongside a clear way to check installation sizing.
