BNOSDM Parakeet Nesting Box with Transparent Viewing Panel and Top-Opening Lid

The BNOSDM Parakeet Nesting Box is a bird-cage rest, nesting and breeding box with a transparent acrylic viewing side and a pine-wood body.

• A perch provides a place to climb and move in and out of the box.
• Bolts, washers and nuts allow installation inside or outside a bird cage.
• A top-opening lid makes it easier to replace bedding and clean the box.
• Three size options help you choose a box suited to your bird.
• Options are available for canaries, budgerigars, cockatoos, parakeets, parrots and lovebirds.

For bird keepers preparing a cage or aviary for nesting, this box provides a dedicated place for birds to rest and engage in natural nesting and breeding behavior. Its clear side lets you view the nesting and hatching process without repeatedly lifting the cover, while the perch gives birds a way to enter and leave.

What is the BNOSDM Parakeet Nesting Box designed for?

It gives birds a place to rest, build a nest, breed and hatch chicks. The box can also serve as an aviary feature where a bird can relax and play. A climbing perch supports birds as they move between the cage and the nesting space.

• Designed for use as a bird house and nesting space.
• The perch suits birds’ climbing habits.

Can I observe nesting without opening the box?

Yes, the transparent side provides a view of breeding, hatching and newborn birds without needing to open the cover repeatedly. The high-definition clear panel supports observation while helping avoid unnecessary disturbance. The wood surface is polished smooth and is designed to resist cracking and deformation; it is also safe for birds to bite.

• Metal anti-bite rings and locks are included as part of the box’s fittings.

Which size should I choose, and how does it attach?

Choose among the small, medium and large versions based on your bird’s size. The small box measures 7.8 × 4.2 × 4.2 in (19.8 × 10.7 × 10.7 cm), the medium measures 9.8 × 5.1 × 5.1 in (24.9 × 13 × 13 cm), and the large measures 13.3 × 7 × 7.8 in (33.8 × 17.8 × 19.8 cm). Use the supplied bolts, washers and nuts to mount it inside or outside the cage.

• Suitable bird types include canaries, budgerigars, cockatoos, parakeets, parrots and lovebirds.
• Compare the listed dimensions with the space available in your cage before choosing a size.

How do I change the bedding and clean the box?

Open the top lid to add or replace bedding and reach inside to clean dirt from the box. This access also allows you to arrange the bedding to create a natural nesting environment for your bird.

• The top-opening design gives access to the interior for bedding changes and cleaning.

The BNOSDM Parakeet Nesting Box suits bird keepers who want a dedicated resting and nesting space with a view into the box and a choice of three sizes. It is designed for the bird species named above, with the appropriate size selected for the individual bird.
