Blata Litter Catching Step for Cat Litter Boxes, Adjustable Access Platform with Dual Outlets

Blata Litter Catching Step is a plastic access platform that collects litter from cats’ paws as they leave the box, with two outlets for emptying collected litter without removing the cover.

• A spacious stepping surface — encourages cats to walk across it rather than jump over or bypass it.
• Optional height-adjustable support legs — help kittens, senior cats, and less-mobile cats reach the litter box.
• Compatible with automatic litter boxes and designed for varied cat and box sizes — fits into different litter-box setups.
• Large litter capacity — holds significantly more litter than standard mats and is designed to reduce emptying to once every few weeks.
• Fully submersible construction that resists litter adhesion and odor retention — supports thorough cleaning.

Loose litter carried on paws can spread beyond the box and create extra floor cleanup. This step is designed to catch litter as cats exit, while also providing an access platform for kittens, older cats, and cats with limited mobility. Its roomy surface makes it useful beside litter boxes where cats can walk onto the platform on their way out.

How does the Blata step catch litter from paws?

Blata Litter Catching Step collects litter from paws as cats leave the litter box, helping limit litter scattered across nearby floors. The generously sized platform is designed to make a cat step onto it instead of jumping over or going around the litter-catching surface. This gives the platform room to serve as both a step and a litter collection area.

• Captures loose litter carried out on cats’ paws.
• Provides a broad surface for cats to step across.

Can kittens, senior cats, and cats using automatic boxes use it?

The Blata platform has optional height-adjustable support legs to help kittens, senior cats, and less-mobile cats access a litter box. It is compatible with automatic litter boxes, and its spacious surface is designed for different cat and litter-box sizes. The platform can also support heavy cats.

• Optional adjustable-height legs provide an access step.
• Made for use with automatic litter boxes as well as other litter-box setups.

How do you empty and clean the litter catcher?

Collected litter can be emptied through the two outlets without taking off the cover. The plastic platform is fully submersible for thorough cleaning; its surface resists litter sticking and odor retention. These features make it possible to clear collected litter and wash the platform as part of routine cat-area care.

• Two litter-dumping outlets allow emptying with the cover in place.
• Fully submersible for cleaning.

How often does the Blata platform need emptying?

Its large-capacity collection area is designed to hold significantly more litter than standard mats, with emptying intervals reduced to once every few weeks. The interval depends on litter collection in your household, but the larger capacity is intended to mean less frequent emptying than a standard mat.

• Large-capacity litter collection compared with standard mats.
• Designed for emptying once every few weeks.

Blata Litter Catching Step suits households looking to reduce litter tracked from the box and provide a more accessible step for kittens, senior cats, or less-mobile cats. It serves as a litter-catching access platform for a litter box, including an automatic model.
