Taking a bird away from its familiar surroundings calls for a carrier that balances airflow with a sheltered space. This backpack is made for portable trips, with room inside for food, water and toys, plus an internal D-ring for hanging toys. Its dark olive green exterior makes it easy to identify as a bird carrier while travelling.

Which birds fit this carrier?

The carrier is suggested for small to medium birds, including lovebirds, cockatiels, conures, Quaker parrots, Senegal parrots, Indian ringnecks, parakeets, budgies, Caiques, Amazon parrots, Eclectus parrots and African greys. Its stated size is 12.6 in long, 10.4 in wide and 16.3 in high. Cockatoos and other larger parrots are not suitable for this carrier.

• Compare your bird’s size with the carrier’s interior space before travel.
• The listed bird examples cover several small to medium parrot types.

How does the carrier provide airflow and shelter?

Mesh on three sides and ventilation holes let air circulate through the carrier. Front and side flaps can cover the mesh to form a more enclosed setting when your bird needs a calmer travel environment. The flaps also help block direct sunlight, while white mesh panels continue to allow airflow.

• The carrier is made without the chemical smells commonly found in other carriers.
• The two included perches are one wooden perch and one rope perch; they let birds change their grip and help reduce foot fatigue.

What comes with the Birds Day Bird Carrier Backpack?

The set includes the backpack, a removable stainless steel tray, one wooden perch, one rope perch, one feeding cup, one shoulder strap and one carrying case. The tray can be removed to make droppings easier to clean up. Padded shoulder straps and a padded back panel make it practical to carry on your back.

• An internal D-ring provides a place to hang toys.
• Space inside accommodates food, water and toys for trips.

This carrier suits bird owners travelling with a small to medium bird who want airflow, adjustable shelter and included perches in one portable setup. Its dimensions, two-perch interior and removable stainless steel tray make it a travel cage designed for those birds rather than larger parrots such as cockatoos.
