How does the Avont dog cone help during recovery?

The collar is designed to help prevent dogs from reaching areas they might lick. A quick-release buckle and an adjustable drawstring at the base provide two ways to secure the fit, making it harder for pets to escape while helping maintain protection.

The collar combines a soft feel with a foldable shape, so it can provide recovery coverage while allowing a wider view and better ventilation when opened out. The design is intended to reduce anxiety and improve airflow.

• Designed for anti-lick recovery wear.
• Foldable construction for adjusting the field of view and ventilation.

Which Avont dog cone size should I choose?

Choose by your dog’s neck girth and compare it with the listed collar depth. Measure the neck girth to match one of the four size ranges; the collar depth indicates how far the cone extends.

• Small: neck girth 11.4–12.6 in (29–32 cm); collar depth 7.8 in (20 cm).
• Medium: neck girth 11.8–13.8 in (30–35 cm); collar depth 9 in (23 cm).
• Large: neck girth 13.7–18.9 in (35–48 cm); collar depth 10.4 in (26.5 cm).
• Extra Large: neck girth 18.9–20.4 in (48–52 cm); collar depth 11 in (28 cm).

Some size ranges overlap, so compare your dog’s measured neck girth with both the range and collar depth when selecting a size.
