Dogs can benefit from an activity during routines that may feel stressful or leave them bored. This bowl offers a way to provide mental stimulation at home or during bath time, grooming and vet visits. Its licking activity also suits hot days, when a frozen treat can keep a dog occupied. Veterinarians recommend mental stimulation to ease anxiety and boredom.

How can the lick bowl support calm and slower eating?

The textured surface turns a serving of food into a licking activity that engages your dog. Slower eating is designed to support healthy digestion and help prevent bloating. The licking motion also encourages saliva flow; the surface is designed to help fight plaque and bad breath as part of an oral-care routine.

• Use it as an enrichment activity when a dog needs distraction.
• Offer it during bathing, grooming or a vet visit to provide a focused activity.

How do you prepare a frozen treat?

Spread yogurt, bone broth or wet food across the textured surface, then freeze it. The frozen preparation makes licking last longer and is suited to warm days or moments when a dog needs a calming activity. The bowl can also be used for licking treats without freezing.

• Choose one of the stated options: yogurt, bone broth or wet food.
• Spread the food over the surface before freezing.

Will the bowl stay in place, and how do you clean it?

The suction base is designed to grip floors or walls, while the raised edges help limit spills. This combination makes the bowl useful for treat activities in places where keeping food contained matters, including bath-time routines. After use, rinse it or put it through a dishwasher cycle.

• Attach the suction base to a floor or wall for use.
• Raised edges help keep food from spilling onto the surrounding area.

Animire XL Dog Lick Bowl suits dog owners looking for a reusable enrichment activity for food, treats and distracting routines such as bathing or grooming. Its food-grade silicone construction, freeze-ready treat surface and suction base bring those uses together in one lick bowl.
