• Nylon webbing over a double-walled plastic core — provides a solid handle construction for daily use.
• Quick-snap clips — make attachment and removal straightforward.

When a handler needs a closer, more direct connection to a service dog, a bridge handle adds reach between the handler and the dog’s vest. This clip-on option is made for daily handling and is designed to improve comfort and control while reducing the need to bend down. Its lightweight construction and quick-snap clips make it practical to attach or remove as needed.

How does the ActiveDogs handle support reach and control?

The 12-inch handle extends the handler’s reach and provides a grab point on a compatible service dog vest. This added reach can make handling more comfortable by reducing the need to bend over. The handle combines nylon webbing with a double-walled plastic core, bringing a flexible outer material together with a solid interior structure.

• Made for service dog handling and everyday use.
• Lightweight construction helps keep the handle convenient to manage.
• The solid construction provides a defined grip point for the handler.

What vests can the bridge handle attach to?

It attaches to service dog vests fitted with dual D-rings. Quick-snap clips connect the handle at those attachment points, so it can be clipped on or detached without a more involved setup. For fit, confirm that the vest has two D-rings before choosing this handle; the stated compatibility is with dual-D-ring service dog vests.

• Clip-on design for a simple attachment process.
• Dual D-rings are the required vest attachment points.
• Suitable for service dog vests with this fitting arrangement.

What is included with the ActiveDogs handle?

The package contains one black, 12-inch nylon clip-on bridge handle with a “Service Dog” embroidered ID band. The identification band is part of the handle, and the clips are attached to the handle for connection to a compatible vest. This is a handle for vests with dual D-rings, rather than a complete vest.

• One handle is included.
• Black color.
• Embroidered identification band.

This handle suits service dog handlers who want an attachable grab point that adds reach and connects to a vest with dual D-rings. It is made by ActiveDogs, a family-owned business producing service dog accessories in the USA since 2002. For handlers with a compatible vest, its 12-inch reach, clip-on attachment, and embroidered ID band bring the key features together in one handle.
