When your routine takes you away from home, or you want your betta fed at a regular time each day, the BettaMatic provides one automatic daily feeding. Its mounting options accommodate a tank side or the included rail kit for round bowls and other tanks. The feeder is designed for betta feeding, with an adjustable food funnel to help control how much food comes through.

How often does the Zoo Med BettaMatic feed a betta?

It dispenses food automatically once per day at a regularly scheduled time. This makes it suited to a single daily feeding routine, including days when you are away. The amount dispensed can be adjusted at the feeder, so you can set the flow of food to suit your feeding needs.

• One automatic feeding each day.
• For a regular, pre-set feeding time.
• Designed for feeding betta fish.

How does the feeder attach to a tank or bowl?

Attach the feeder directly to the side of a tank, or use its enclosed rail kit for a round bowl or another tank. These two mounting approaches let you choose the one that fits your setup. The feeder is black.

• Direct tank-side mounting.
• Rail kit included for round bowls and other tanks.
• Black feeder.

Can you adjust the amount of food it dispenses?

Yes. A funnel in the middle of the feeder scoops food, and turning the funnel allows more or less food to pass through. Adjust it gradually and observe the pellets dispensed until the amount suits your feeding routine; no specific portion size is provided.

• Turn the center funnel to change food flow.
• If the dispensing ball does not turn, make sure the black dial is fully turned.
• Includes sample food and one AA battery.

The Zoo Med BettaMatic is suited to betta owners who want a scheduled once-daily feeding option, whether at home or while away. It offers tank-side or rail-kit mounting and an adjustable food flow, with an AA battery and sample food included. It is designed around one daily feeding rather than multiple feedings per day.
