Small animals need a place to withdraw from activity as well as room to move around. This hideout creates an enclosed resting spot in a home or exercise area, giving pets a place to retreat when they want a break from their surroundings. Its two openings allow animals to enter and leave without relying on a single doorway.

Which small pets and spaces is this hideout made for?

The TRIXIE shelter is designed for rabbits, guinea pigs, and similar small animals, and can be used inside or outdoors. It works as a sheltered spot within a larger exercise yard as well as in a living space. The enclosed form gives pets a defined place to hide and rest.

• Suitable for rabbits and guinea pigs, plus similar small pets.
• For indoor settings and outdoor use.
• Can be placed in large exercise pens as a retreat.

How do the two entrances help pets use the shelter?

Two entrance openings provide separate ways in and out, so an animal is not limited to a single exit. This layout helps reduce the feeling of being cornered and allows easier access in multi-pet enclosures or active play areas. The hideout still offers an enclosed space for resting and hiding.

• Dual openings support entry and exit.
• Useful in shared enclosures and busy play areas.

Will it fit in my space, and how is it set up?

The shelter measures 11.8 in long x 19.7 in wide x 14.4 in high (30.0 x 50.0 x 36.6 cm). Compare those dimensions with the area available in your exercise pen or living space before placing it. Assembly is straightforward, and the roof is weather-resistant for outdoor use.

• Measure the intended floor area against the stated length and width.
• The height is 14.4 in (36.6 cm).
• The roof offers weather resistance outdoors.

This TRIXIE hideout suits rabbit and guinea pig owners who want to add a dedicated retreat to an indoor space or exercise yard. Its enclosed layout, two access openings, and weather-resistant roof make it a practical shelter for rest and hiding rather than an open play area.
