Tfwadmx Reptile Basking Platform, 2-Pack 11 x 5.5 in Natural Rock Plates

The Tfwadmx Reptile Basking Platform is a two-piece rock plate set for basking, feeding and nail grinding, with each plate measuring 11 x 5.5 in (27.94 x 13.97 cm).

• Each plate can serve as a basking surface or feeding plate — use the same platform for warmth and meals.
• Hard-textured natural rock — the surface can help reptiles grind their nails.
• Water-absorbing stone slowly releases moisture as it evaporates — a useful feature for a reptile habitat.
• Rock absorbs heat beneath a sun lamp or basking bulb — the warmed surface helps provide a comfortable temperature.
• Four EVA pads on each plate’s underside — designed to help prevent slipping.

This set brings basking and feeding surfaces together for reptile enclosures. The rock plates can also serve as a surface for nail grinding, while their moisture- and heat-related properties make them useful around a basking area. Each plate is sized for reptiles including tortoises, lizards, bearded dragons, geckos, chameleons, snakes, frogs, newts and salamanders.

Can the rock plates be used for both basking and feeding?

Yes, each Tfwadmx plate is made to work as either a basking platform or a feeding plate. Food can be placed on the stone surface for turtles to eat, and the hard texture can help reptiles grind their nails as they use the platform.

• Two rock plates are included in the set.
• The natural-color stone has a hard texture.
• Rough edges are polished by hand.

How does the platform work with a basking lamp?

Place a Tfwadmx rock plate beneath a sun lamp or basking bulb so the stone can absorb heat. Natural rock holds warmth, and the heated surface is intended to help maintain a comfortable temperature for basking.

• Each plate has four EVA pads underneath to help prevent slipping.
• The stone can absorb water and release moisture gradually as the water evaporates.

Which reptiles can use this platform, and what size is each plate?

Each Tfwadmx plate measures 11 x 5.5 in (27.94 x 13.97 cm) and is suitable for tortoises, lizards, bearded dragons, geckos, chameleons, snakes, frogs, newts and salamanders. Compare the plate dimensions with the available space in the enclosure when choosing where to place it.

• The stated dimensions are length by width.
• The set contains two platforms of this size.

This set suits reptile keepers looking for natural-rock surfaces that can support basking, feeding and nail grinding in one enclosure. It is sized for the listed reptiles and provides two plates measuring 11 x 5.5 in each.
