Small pets need room to run, and a wheel should suit both the animal and its enclosure. Tafit’s wheel is made for exercise and entertainment for a range of small animals, with a wide track and an adjustable stand for different cage or bedding heights. Before choosing it, compare the wheel’s dimensions with the available space in your cage or tank.

Which small pets is the Tafit wheel designed for?

The wheel is recommended for Syrian hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, lemmings, degus, and similar small pets. Its running drum and wide track are sized to provide space for running without requiring a pet to bend its back. The runway also has raised, non-slip ridges to help reduce slipping from momentum while the wheel is in motion.

• Suitable for a range of small animals, including the species named above.
• Textured runway surface provides grip during exercise.
• Smooth edges are designed to help avoid injury from sharp edges.

How does the wheel support quieter running?

High-precision bearings help the wheel rotate smoothly and reduce noise during use. The bearing design also supports wheel stability, creating a running surface for everyday exercise. The runway’s soft, textured finish adds a tactile surface for pets as they move.

• Bearings are designed for smooth, quiet operation.
• The wheel’s running track combines a soft texture with non-slip ridges.

Will it fit my cage or tank?

The adjustable stand can be set between 11 inches (28 cm) and 14.2 inches (36 cm) to suit different cage heights or bedding levels. Its base measures 5.5 inches (14 cm) by 8.7 inches (22 cm), so measure the available floor or platform space before selecting a position. The wheel can sit on platforms or other surfaces, and its wide base is designed to provide stable support.

• Check that your enclosure has enough room for the wheel and its base.
• Adjust the stand height to suit the cage or bedding arrangement.

What are the materials and setup details?
