Which small pets is the Tafit pumpkin hideout made for?

It is sized for dwarf hamsters, gerbils, and mice. The hideout gives these small pets a dedicated sheltered space for resting, playing, or hiding within their habitat.

• Product dimensions: 5.5 x 5.2 x 4.7 in (14 x 13.2 x 11.9 cm).
• Designed for small pets rather than larger animals.

What is the hideout made of, and how do you clean it?

The hideout is made from high-fired ceramic, with an opaque, weighty form that resists tipping and gnawing. Unlike wooden hideouts, its ceramic construction is chew-resistant. Clean it by wiping with cold water or a damp cloth.

• No special cleaning method is needed beyond cold water or a damp cloth.
• The stable design is intended to resist toppling in a pet habitat.

Can the pumpkin hideout be used beyond Halloween?

Yes. The hideout is designed for year-round use as well as seasonal display: it offers a cool retreat in summer and can serve as a warm nest when bedding is added in winter. Its pumpkin form also works as Halloween and fall décor in a habitat or home display.

• Pair it with Tafit accessories, such as matching bedding or a bat-shaped bath, for a coordinated Halloween-themed habitat.
• The pumpkin design combines a functional pet hideout with a seasonal decorative accent.

This hideout suits small-pet owners looking for a ceramic retreat that also adds a seasonal touch to the habitat. It is sized for dwarf hamsters, gerbils, and mice, with a chew-resistant form and year-round use that make it a practical fit for those pets.
