SureFlap SureFeed Motion-Activated Sealed Pet Bowl, 400 ml, with Training Mode

The SureFlap SureFeed Sealed Pet Bowl is a motion-activated feeder designed to help keep wet or dry pet food fresher, with a 13.5-ounce (383 g) capacity and a closing lid.

• Opens when any pet approaches and is not microchip activated — a simple way to let pets access their food.
• Holds 13.5 ounces of wet or dry food — accommodates different feeding preferences.
• A neoprene bowl lip forms a seal when the lid closes — helps food stay fresher and smells stay contained.
• Training mode closes the lid in stages — helps timid pets adjust to its movement.
• Runs on four C alkaline batteries, not included — estimated battery life is up to six months, depending on use.
• Includes a two-year warranty — provides manufacturer-backed coverage.

For cats and small dogs that graze or eat at different times, food left in an open bowl can lose freshness and create lingering odors. This motion-activated bowl opens as a pet approaches, so food can be available for daytime or nighttime eating, including while you are away. It is best suited to single-pet homes because any approaching pet can activate it.

How does the SureFeed bowl open, and which pets is it for?

The lid opens when any pet comes near; the bowl does not identify pets by microchip. It is intended for cats and small dogs, particularly in single-pet homes. For pets that are wary of the moving lid, training mode introduces the movement gradually by closing the lid in stages.

• Allows pets to eat or graze while you are away.
• Supports pets with daytime or nighttime feeding habits.

What food does the bowl hold, and how does the lid help?

The bowl holds up to 13.5 ounces of either wet food or dry kibble. Its neoprene lip meets the lid when closed to help keep food fresher and more palatable for longer, which can help reduce food waste. For context, an average cat-food can holds 5.5 ounces.

The closing lid also helps contain food odors. Its no-spill construction is designed to limit mess, while toe pads on the base help prevent sliding and keep the bowl upright.

• One grey bowl is included.
• Additional bowls are available separately in grey, green, pink, and blue; stainless steel bowls are also available.
• Pink, blue, and green mat and bowl options can be used to customize the setup.

What is included, and what powers the bowl?

The package includes one grey bowl; batteries are not included. The feeder uses four non-rechargeable C alkaline batteries, with an estimated battery life of up to six months depending on use. A flashing red light signals that the batteries are low and should be replaced soon.

• Two-year manufacturer warranty.
• Battery-powered operation.

The SureFlap SureFeed Sealed Pet Bowl suits cat and small-dog owners who want a covered feeding bowl for a pet that eats or grazes throughout the day or night. It is designed for access by any approaching pet, rather than microchip-controlled feeding, and combines a motion-activated lid with a sealed 13.5-ounce bowl.
