Overreaching can expose the heel bulbs and coronet band to contact. These bell boots are made for horse owners seeking a protective layer around those areas, with a flexible rubber shell intended to absorb impact and deflect scuffs. Their orange colour and Full size make the selected version easy to identify.

What areas do these bell boots protect?

Shires Arma Overreach Fleece Bell Boots are made to shield the sensitive heel bulbs and coronet band from the impact and scuffing associated with overreaching. The 6 mm rubber shell is designed to absorb shock while remaining flexible. This combination focuses protection on the lower hoof area covered by the boots.

• Intended for overreach protection.
• Flexible shell construction.

What are the boots made with?

Shires Arma Overreach Fleece Bell Boots combine a gum-rubber shell with SupaFleece trim. The shell is the impact-absorbing part of the design, while the fleece trim finishes the boot’s edge. The product name identifies the rubber as durable, and the listed shell thickness is 6 mm (0.24 in).

• Gum-rubber shell.
• SupaFleece trim.

How do the boots fasten, and what size is this version?

Shires Arma Overreach Fleece Bell Boots have a double Velcro fastening and this version is Full size in orange. The two Velcro straps provide the closure, and the size and colour identify the specific option. Full is the stated size designation; no measurement range is provided here for matching it to a horse.
