Ruffwear Climate Changer Dog Fleece Vest, Cedar Green XX-Small, Lightweight Recycled Warmth

The Ruffwear Climate Changer Dog Fleece Vest is a lightweight layer for keeping dogs warm on cold-weather outings, made from quick-drying 100% recycled polyester fleece.

• Anti-pilling fleece with breathable warmth — helps keep your dog comfortable without bulky layers.
• Low-profile design — wear it on its own in cool weather or under a shell when conditions change.
• Back leash portal and side-release buckles — access a harness and fasten the vest more easily.
• Optional stretch leg loops, reflective trim and a light loop — useful features for blustery or low-light outings.
• Coverage over the hips and thighs — warms key muscles while preserving a natural stride.

For winter walks, snowy hikes and crisp morning outings, a dog’s layer needs to provide warmth while allowing room to move. The Climate Changer is designed for active use in cool conditions, from neighborhood walks to trail time. Its Cedar Green color and XX-Small size identify this version of the vest.

What kind of warmth does the Climate Changer provide?

The vest uses quick-drying, breathable fleece to provide warmth without adding bulk. Its 100% recycled polyester fabric has an anti-pilling finish, and the fleece manages moisture during outdoor activity. The low-profile cut also makes the vest practical as a layer beneath a shell when the weather turns.

• Fleece fabric: 100% recycled polyester.
• Designed for cold-weather walks, hikes and other outdoor outings.

Can the vest be worn with a harness?

Yes, the back leash portal is designed to work over most harnesses. Side-release buckles make it easier to put on and take off, while the vest can be worn alone in cool temperatures or layered under a shell. The portal fits most harnesses, rather than being specified for every harness design.

• Leash access is provided through the back of the vest.
• Side-release buckles secure the vest.

How does the vest support movement and outdoor visibility?

The active fit extends over the hips and thighs to cover key muscles while allowing a natural stride. A vest silhouette and soft stretch cuffs are designed to reduce chafing and support comfortable movement when dogs run, jump and play. Optional stretch leg loops help keep the vest secure and block drafts; reflective trim and a light loop add visibility when skies are overcast.

• Coverage reaches across the hips and thighs.
• Stretch leg loops are optional features for a more secure fit in blustery conditions.
• Reflective trim and a light loop are included for visibility.

The Cedar Green XX-Small Ruffwear Climate Changer suits dogs needing a low-bulk fleece layer for active outings in cool or cold weather. It is made for warmth and coverage that still allow a natural stride, with harness access through a back portal designed for most harnesses.
