Dogs have an instinctive need to chew, and these lamb twists give that behavior a chew-focused outlet. They are made for owners looking for a lamb chew that can engage a dog, support dental cleaning through the action of gnawing, and offer an alternative to rawhide. Chewing is also intended to provide an energy outlet and help curb destructive behaviors; Raw Paws also identifies the chews as a coprophagia deterrent.

What can a dog get from chewing these lamb twists?

Gnawing on the twists is designed to support dental and mental well-being. The abrasive chewing action scrapes plaque and tartar from teeth and gums, while the act of chewing supports dopamine release and stress reduction.

• Chewing provides an activity that can help redirect a dog’s urge to gnaw.
• The product is positioned as a soft chew and a rawhide alternative.

Are these twists suitable for puppies and senior dogs?

Yes. Their soft-chew format is intended for puppies whose teeth are coming in and older dogs who may have fewer teeth. This makes the twists an option for dogs that need a chew suited to those life stages, while still offering an outlet for chewing.

• Made for puppy teething and senior-dog chewing.
• Choose based on your dog’s ability to handle a chew; each twist varies in length.

What is in the 10-count pack?

The pack contains 10 lamb pizzle twists, each 5–9 inches long. The chews are braided and made with one ingredient: lamb pizzle.

• Quantity: 10 twists.
• Ingredient: lamb pizzle.
• Length: 5–9 inches per twist.

How are the lamb pizzle twists sourced and treated?

The lamb comes from flocks raised without antibiotics or added hormones. The chews are not treated with chemicals or bleach, giving shoppers clear sourcing and processing details to consider when choosing a dog chew.

• No antibiotics or added hormones are used in raising the source flocks.
• No chemical or bleach treatment is used on the twists.

Raw Paws Lamb Pizzle Twists are suited to dog owners seeking a lamb-based chew for a dog with a strong urge to gnaw, including teething puppies and senior dogs with fewer teeth. They offer a 10-piece, single-ingredient option in a soft, braided format for chewing rather than a meal or a non-chew treat.
