• XL chews for large dogs — give dogs a substantial option for their instinct to chew.
• Made with 100% yak’s milk — provides a milk-based chew without cow’s milk.
• Sourced from ethical farmers in Nepal — brings yak cheese made with a traditional Nepali recipe.
• No additives or preservatives, and rawhide-free — offers a chew made without those ingredients.
• Lactose-free and gluten-free — suits the stated dietary considerations for dogs with sensitive stomachs or kidney issues.

Dogs often need an appropriate outlet for chewing, whether they are bored, anxious, or simply following an instinctive urge. These XL yak chews are made for large dogs and are intended to provide a long-lasting chew with low odor and low mess.

What are Raw Paws Himalayan Yak Chews made from?

They are made from yak’s milk using a traditional Nepali cheese-making process. The milk is boiled, then lime juice and salt are added to curdle it and form cheese; the chews are rawhide-free and contain no cow’s milk.

The yak cheese is sourced from Nepal through partnerships with ethical farmers. Raw Paws hand-inspects the treats at its USA facility.

• The recipe uses boiled yak’s milk, lime juice, and salt.
• They are made without additives or preservatives.

Are these chews sized for large dogs, and what are they for?

Yes. This XL four-count set is intended for large dogs and gives them a tough chew for satisfying their natural chewing urge. The chews are described as able to stand up to aggressive chewers, and their long-lasting format can help occupy dogs when they are bored or anxious.

The lactose-free and gluten-free formulation is intended for dogs with sensitive stomachs or kidney issues. Dogs should be supervised while chewing; the product information does not give a specific chew duration or a dog-weight limit.

• Four XL yak chews are included.
• The treats are low odor and low mess.

How can chewing support a dog’s oral care?

As a dog chews, the treat’s firm texture can scrape plaque and tartar from the teeth. This chewing action is intended to support oral hygiene and may help with bad breath while supporting tooth and gum health.

These are treats for chewing, not a substitute for a dog’s regular oral-care routine. Their purpose combines an outlet for chewing with the stated oral-care benefit.

• Chewing is the mechanism behind the stated plaque- and tartar-scraping effect.
• The chews are intended as a treat for dogs, not as a meal.

Raw Paws Himalayan Yak Chews suit owners of large dogs seeking a yak-milk, rawhide-free chew for boredom, anxious moments, or everyday chewing. They are an XL four-count treat made from yak’s milk and intended for chewing rather than serving as a complete food.
