Pestairs Retractable Dog Tie-Out Cable and Stake, 9.1 m Silver, 360° Swivel

Pestairs is a retractable dog tie-out cable and ground stake for outdoor roaming, with a 30 ft (9.14 m) lead and a stated dog weight range of 10–90 lb (4.54–40.82 kg).

• Retractable cable system — gives dogs room to move while helping prevent leg tangles.
• 360-degree swivel clip and rotating housing — follow movement from different directions to reduce leash strain.
• Powder-coated steel stake with a 1/2 in (12.7 mm) diameter body — anchors the tie-out in sandy, clayey, and rocky soils.
• 12 mm-thick steel anchor — designed to hold dogs weighing up to 120 lb (54.4 kg).
• High-carbon steel flat spiral spring — cycles through retraction more than 70,000 times.

This tie-out is made for outdoor settings such as a yard or campsite, where a dog needs a defined roaming area without a conventional fixed-length tether. Its cable retracts as the dog moves, while the rotating components help the lead follow changes in direction. The silver-colored system combines the cable and reel with a spiral stake for ground installation.

How does the Pestairs tie-out help prevent tangles?

The retractable cable feeds in and out as the dog moves, and the reel housing rotates freely with that movement. A 360-degree swivel clip adds another turning point, helping reduce twists and strain when the dog changes direction. The cable provides a 30-foot roaming range for outdoor use.

• Retractable lead design helps keep the cable from forming messy knots.
• The clip swivels a full 360 degrees.

How does the stake install, and what ground is it made for?

The spiral stake is driven into the ground using its large spiral blade and integrated drill-style tip; installation is designed to take only minutes with minimal effort. Its high-strength steel body is 1/2 inch in diameter and has a powder-coated finish. It is intended for ground that includes sandy, clayey, and rocky soil.

• Steel construction with a powder coat.
• Weather-resistant and anti-rust features help it withstand outdoor exposure.

What are the cable and retraction components made to handle?

The lead uses heavy-duty steel cable, while the anchor is made from 12 mm-thick steel. The cable and powder-coated anchor are designed for weather resistance and resistance to chewing. A flat spiral spring made from high-carbon steel powers the retraction mechanism, which is designed for more than 70,000 back-and-forth cycles.

• Anchor holding capacity: dogs up to 120 lb.
• Product dog weight range: 10–90 lb.

Pestairs suits dog owners who want a retractable outdoor tie-out for yard time or camping, with a stake intended for several soil types and a swivel system for changing directions. Choose it for dogs within the stated 10–90 lb range; the anchor itself is designed to hold up to 120 lb. Its 30-foot cable, spiral ground stake, and rotating reel make it an outdoor roaming system rather than a standard handheld walking leash.
