For small pets, a carrier needs to provide a way to travel close to you while keeping your hands free to manage everyday activities. The Pecute carrier is made for carrying a cat or a small dog on your shoulder, with a mesh top for airflow and built-in safety features for the pet inside. Its cream-coloured design has a softly textured, paper-wrinkle appearance, making it a practical travel accessory as well as a pet carrier.

Which pets can fit in the Pecute Dog Purse Carrier?

The carrier is suitable for cats under 6.6 lb (3 kg) and dogs under 6.6 lb (3 kg) whose body length is no more than 15 in (38 cm). Its overall size is 16.9 × 6.7 × 10.2 in (43 × 17 × 26 cm), so measure your pet and compare its body length with the stated limit before purchasing. The stated suitable breeds are Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, Yorkshire Terriers, Maltese, and Papillons.

• Pets weighing around 2.2–4.4 lb (2–3 kg) are identified as a comfortable fit.
• Pets under 4.4 lb (2 kg) have plenty of room.
• Long or dense fur can reduce the available interior space; factor your pet’s coat into your fit assessment.

How does the carrier support a pet while being carried?

The carrier has a sturdy design intended to avoid crushing your puppy, plus a built-in escape-proof safety leash to help keep your pet secure inside. A large mesh panel across the top allows airflow, while a window at both the front and back lets your pet stick its head out. The carrier can be carried on either shoulder, and its 1.65 lb (0.75 kg) weight is designed to reduce the load on your shoulders.

• Soft cotton filling in the inner lining adds cushioning for your pet.
• Four anti-abrasion pads on the base help protect the bottom from wear.
• The shoulder strap is made of pure cotton.

What storage and cleaning features does it have?

The Pecute carrier includes a large pocket for pet supplies and folds down for storage when it is not in use. Its support pad is removable and machine-washable, so you can take it out for cleaning. The front and back windows give your pet two places to look out, while the top mesh panel is designed to keep air moving through the carrier.

• Each zipper lock carries a Pecute brand logo.
• The Pecute logo appears on both sides of the carrier.
• The outer design has a water-repellent function.

Can the carrier be used for air travel?

For air travel, consult the airline before purchasing, as airline requirements can vary. The carrier’s stated dimensions are 16.9 × 6.7 × 10.2 in (43 × 17 × 26 cm); compare those measurements with the airline’s requirements before planning to travel with it.

• Measure your pet before choosing the carrier.
• Use the dog body-length limit and pet weight guidance to assess fit.

The Pecute Dog Purse Carrier suits owners carrying a cat under 6.6 lb (3 kg) or one of the stated small dog breeds within the carrier’s size limits. Its mesh top, safety leash, washable removable support pad, and foldable design make it suited to carrying and storing a small-pet carrier; it is not intended for pets outside the stated fit guidance.
