Oxbow Timothy Hay for Rabbits & Guinea Pigs, 1.13 kg Soft & Lush Prime Cut

Oxbow Prime Cut Soft & Lush Timothy Hay is a high-fiber forage for rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas, with tender, leafy strands in a 40 oz (1.13 kg) bag.

• Soft, leafy cut with thinner stems — offers a gentler chewing texture.
• High-fiber timothy hay — supports digestion as part of a balanced diet.
• Chewing and foraging — encourages natural behaviors and natural tooth wear.
• Gently compressed and pre-portioned — makes hay easy to serve.
• No artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives — keeps the ingredients free of those additives.

Timothy hay provides small pets with a forage food they can chew and explore. This softer cut is made for pets that may prefer tender strands to coarser hay, while its texture gives them opportunities to forage during mealtime.

What is different about this timothy hay cut?

Oxbow Prime Cut Soft & Lush Timothy Hay has thinner stems and abundant tender leaves. The strands are green and fragrant, and the hay is hand-sorted before packaging. Its soft, fluffy texture offers a gentle chewing experience, with a crunchy texture that also supports natural tooth wear.

• Hand-sorted hay is packaged for consistent quality.
• Oxbow’s family of farmers cultivates the timothy hay.

How does Oxbow Prime Cut Timothy Hay fit into a small pet’s diet?

Its natural fiber supports digestive function, and chewing the hay encourages the natural wear of continuously growing teeth. The strands also give pets a chance to forage, chew, and explore, supporting natural activity during feeding. Oxbow Prime Cut is designed for rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas, and can provide variety alongside daily nutrition.

• Made for rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas.
• Foraging and chewing provide opportunities for natural feeding behaviors.

How is the hay prepared for serving?

The hay is gently compressed and pre-portioned, so it is convenient to take out and serve. The 40 oz bag contains timothy hay, not a measured serving size; portion the hay to suit your pet’s feeding routine. Its soft strands are intended to be offered as forage, rather than as a formulated food with artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

• Pre-portioned hay is ready to serve from the bag.
• The product contains no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

Oxbow Prime Cut Soft & Lush Timothy Hay suits small-pet owners looking for a leafy, softer-textured forage option for rabbits, guinea pigs, or chinchillas. Its tender strands, natural fiber, and chew-and-forage texture make it a practical addition to a varied feeding routine.
