OOPSDOGGY Pitbull Dog Muzzle, Orange Reflective Wire Basket with Adjustable Straps

OOPSDOGGY is a stainless-steel wire basket muzzle for Pitbull-type dogs, designed to help prevent biting and chewing while its open cage allows breathing and drinking.

• Fits a 12-inch (30.5 cm) snout girth and 3.5-inch (8.9 cm) snout length — compare both measurements for a better fit.
• Adjustable reflective nylon straps — improve visibility in low light and help keep the muzzle in place.
• Open wire basket — allows your dog to breathe, drink water and open its mouth.
• Made for walks, training and controlled handling — supports management in busy environments.
• Basket design helps limit ground scavenging — reduces access to objects your dog may try to pick up.

This orange muzzle is made for situations where a dog needs a structured muzzle, including outdoor walks, training sessions and controlled handling. Its basket form is a metal-cage alternative to soft dog muzzles, while the open design keeps the mouth less restricted than a closed muzzle.

How do I know whether the muzzle will fit?

OOPSDOGGY’s Pitbull dog muzzle is sized for a snout measuring 12 inches (30.5 cm) around and 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) long. Measure both the girth and length of your dog’s snout before choosing this size; matching both measurements helps you assess fit and comfort. It is designed for Pit Bulls, Amstaffs and Staffordshire Terriers when their snout measurements match.

• Measure around the widest part of the snout for girth.
• Measure from the base to the tip of the snout for length.

What is the muzzle made from, and how does it stay on?

OOPSDOGGY’s muzzle combines a handcrafted stainless-steel wire cage with reinforced nylon straps. The straps adjust to help secure the basket, and their reflective material improves visibility in low-light conditions. The secure-fit design helps reduce attempts to remove the muzzle; it is not a guarantee that every dog will be unable to remove it.

• The structured cage is made from stainless-steel wire.
• The straps are reinforced nylon and adjustable.

Can a dog drink and breathe while wearing it?

Yes, OOPSDOGGY’s open basket muzzle allows breathing, drinking water and opening the mouth while helping prevent biting and chewing. The cage also limits a dog’s ability to grab objects from the ground, making it useful for managing scavenging during walks and in busy settings.

• Intended for outdoor activity and controlled handling.
• The basket structure is distinct from a soft muzzle design.

How should I introduce the muzzle?

Introduce OOPSDOGGY’s dog muzzle gradually: let your dog sniff and explore it before putting it on, then begin with short wearing sessions. Reward your dog with treats and praise, and increase wearing time gradually as your dog becomes comfortable and relaxed.

• Start with brief sessions rather than a long first wear.
• Use treats and praise during the introduction.

This muzzle best suits owners of Pit Bulls, Amstaffs and Staffordshire Terriers whose dogs match the stated snout measurements and need a basket muzzle for walks, training or controlled handling. It is a stainless-steel wire cage with adjustable reflective straps and an open design for drinking and breathing.
