OKKIC Dog Basket Muzzle, Size 6 Lightweight, Shapeable Fit for Panting and Drinking

The OKKIC Size 6 basket muzzle is designed to help prevent biting, chewing, licking, and scavenging while allowing a dog to pant, drink, and be fed.

• Basket design — helps limit unwanted mouth behaviours while keeping drinking and feeding possible.
• Odorless TPE silicone — provides a lightweight muzzle made to withstand pressure.
• Malleable thermal plastic silicone — can be heated and shaped to customize the fit, including for broad-nosed dogs.
• W-shaped structure — keeps the muzzle away from the eyes to help prevent irritation.
• For grooming, vet visits, training, public outings, and travel — supports handling in a range of situations.

A basket muzzle can provide a practical way to manage biting or reactive behaviour during everyday handling and outings. OKKIC’s design is made for use when a dog needs mouth protection without blocking drinking or feeding. Size 6 is one specific size; choose it by comparing your dog’s snout measurements with the size chart rather than relying on breed alone.

What does the OKKIC basket muzzle help prevent?

The muzzle is designed to help prevent biting, chewing, licking, and scavenging. Its basket shape still allows your dog to drink and be fed while wearing it, making it suitable for situations such as grooming, vet visits, training, and travel.

• Use it for supervised handling and outings where mouth protection is needed.
• The design is intended for small, medium, and large dogs, with fit determined by the selected size.

How do I choose the right OKKIC muzzle size?

Measure your dog’s snout length and circumference, then compare both measurements with the size chart. For Size 6, as with any size, both dimensions need to align with the chart for a suitable fit. If the snout length exceeds the maximum range by 1 inch (2.54 cm), choose the next size up.

• Check both snout measurements before choosing a size.
• Long-snout breeds, including Dobermans, need a size that accommodates both length and circumference.

Can the OKKIC muzzle be shaped for a dog’s snout?

Yes. The malleable thermal plastic silicone can be heated and shaped to customize the fit, including for broad-nosed breeds. The odorless TPE silicone construction is lightweight and designed to withstand pressure, while the W-shaped structure sits away from the eyes to help prevent irritation.

• Custom shaping helps accommodate different snout profiles.
• Choose the size using measurements before shaping the muzzle.

The OKKIC Size 6 basket muzzle is suited to dog owners who need a customizable option for grooming, veterinary visits, training, or outings and whose dog’s measurements match the size chart. It is designed to help manage unwanted mouth behaviours while allowing drinking and feeding.
