OKKIC Dog Basket Muzzle, Black Size L, Lightweight TPE for Panting and Drinking

OKKIC Dog Muzzle is a black, size L basket muzzle designed to help limit biting and chewing while allowing panting and drinking, made from odorless TPE silicone.

• Basket coverage protects the full snout to help manage biting and chewing.
• Open design lets dogs pant, drink, and take treats.
• Odorless TPE silicone provides a lightweight muzzle for everyday use.
• Made for socialization, vet visits, grooming, and travel.
• Malleable material can be heated and reshaped for a more personalized fit.

This muzzle is designed for situations where you want added control around your dog without restricting basic behaviors. Its basket format suits supervised outings and care routines, including grooming appointments and visits to the vet. Measure your dog before choosing a size so the muzzle fits the snout rather than relying on breed or weight alone.

How do I choose the right muzzle fit?

Measure both your dog’s snout circumference and snout length, then compare both measurements with the size range. For long-snouted breeds such as Dobermans, snout length needs particular attention. If the snout length exceeds the size range by about 1 inch (2.54 cm), choose the next size up.

• Check circumference and length before purchase.
• Use the length measurement to guide sizing for long-snouted dogs.

Can my dog pant and drink while wearing it?

Yes, the basket design provides full snout coverage while leaving room for panting, drinking, and taking treats. This makes it suitable for supervised socialization, travel, grooming, and vet visits where those basic behaviors matter. The muzzle is intended to help manage biting and chewing, not to prevent a dog from panting or drinking.

• Basket coverage extends around the snout.
• The open design accommodates treats during use.

What material and shape does the OKKIC muzzle use?

OKKIC makes this muzzle from odorless TPE silicone that is lightweight for small dogs and strong and sturdy for medium and large dogs. The malleable material can be heated and reshaped to personalize the fit, especially for broad-nosed dogs. Its W-shaped design keeps the muzzle away from the eyes to reduce friction.

• The W-shaped profile provides space around the eyes.
• Reshaping can help customize the fit for a broad nose.

How can I help my dog get used to the muzzle?

If your dog resists wearing a correctly sized muzzle, introduce it with treats to build a positive association. The product guidance also recommends using a training video to support the adjustment process; a gradual, positive introduction can help your dog accept wearing it more comfortably.

• Pair the muzzle with treats during introduction.
• Use training guidance if your dog resists the muzzle.

The OKKIC Dog Muzzle suits owners looking for a basket design for supervised grooming, vet visits, travel, and socialization while allowing panting and drinking. It is a fit-dependent choice, so measure snout circumference and length before selecting a size. For a dog whose measurements match the size range, the black size L combines snout coverage with room for basic behaviors.
