NRS Dog Life Jacket, CFD USCG-Approved Flotation Vest for Swimming and Boating

The NRS CFD Dog Life Jacket is a USCG-approved flotation vest for dogs, with a seven-panel design and 420-denier ripstop nylon shell for water activities.

• USCG approved — provides flotation for canine water activities.
• Seven-panel construction with buoyancy foam under the neck and belly — adds lift while following a dog’s shape.
• 420-denier ripstop nylon shell — resists tears and abrasions during outdoor use.
• Two side buckles and an adjustable ladder-lock neck strap — help secure a close, adjustable fit.
• Top grab handle, rear metal D-ring and reflective trim — support handling, leash use and visibility in low light.

For dogs joining their people on the water, a flotation vest needs to support movement as well as buoyancy. The NRS CFD is designed for swimming, boating and rafting, including outings on rivers, lakes and calm coastal waters. Its compact, minimal-profile construction is made for active use around the water without restricting a dog’s movement.

What water activities is the NRS CFD Dog Life Jacket designed for?

The NRS CFD Dog Life Jacket is made for swimming, boating and rafting with your dog. Its buoyancy foam panels beneath the neck and belly provide lift, while the seven-panel shape is designed around canine anatomy. The vest’s low-profile build supports movement during play, exploration and swimming.

• Suitable for rivers, lakes and calm coastal waters.
• Designed for active dogs around the water.

How does the vest fit and help you handle your dog?

The vest adjusts at three points: two side buckles secure the body, and a ladder-lock strap adjusts at the neck. These adjustments help create a snug fit across various dog sizes. A reinforced handle on top gives you a place to hold when helping your dog back into a boat or onto a dock.

• Side-buckle entry keeps the fastening points at the sides of the vest.
• The rear metal D-ring lets the vest serve as a walking harness between water and trail.
• A built-in leash ring adds a leash attachment point.

What materials and visibility details does it have?

The NRS CFD Dog Life Jacket has a 420-denier ripstop nylon shell, chosen to resist abrasions and tears during outdoor activity. Bright colors make the vest easier to discern in different water conditions, and reflective accents help with visibility in low light, including around dawn or dusk.

• The vest combines flotation and harness functions in one design.
• Reflective trim is placed throughout the vest.

This vest suits dog owners who bring an active dog along for swimming, paddling, boating or rafting and want flotation with useful handling and leash features. Its adjustable fit, canine-shaped panels and integrated harness details make it a practical choice for water outings that may continue onto the trail.
