Water activities call for flotation made to suit a dog’s body and movement. This jacket is made for pet owners bringing their dogs along for swimming, boating, or rafting, and provides buoyancy in a design intended for canine anatomy. Its teal color identifies the small size option covered on this page.

What water activities is the NRS CFD Dog Life Jacket made for?

The NRS CFD Dog Life Jacket is suitable for swimming, boating, and rafting. Its canine-anatomy design provides flotation for dogs participating in these activities, while its integrated harness function brings flotation and harness features together in one design. This makes it relevant for time on the water as well as swimming sessions.

• Designed for dogs, rather than shaped as a general-purpose human flotation device.
• Intended for a range of water activities, including boating and rafting.
• Combines flotation and harness functions in the same jacket.

How does the jacket fit around a dog?

The jacket closes with a side-buckle entry system and uses adjustable straps for a snug fit that is designed to remain non-restrictive. Its shape is optimized for canine anatomy, with the fit system intended to secure the jacket while keeping comfort in mind. Select the small size when that is the size you need for your dog.

• Side buckle entry makes the jacket fasten at the side.
• Adjustable straps let you tailor the fit.
• The design aims for secure wear without restricting your dog’s movement.

What helps the jacket hold up and stay visible?

The jacket is made from 420-denier ripstop nylon, a fabric chosen for resistance to tears and abrasions. Bright, easy-to-discern coloring helps your dog remain visible in different water conditions, and reflective trim improves visibility in low light. The NRS CFD Dog Life Jacket is USCG approved.

• Ripstop nylon construction provides resistance to tears and abrasion.
• Bright coloring supports visibility in varied water environments.
• Reflective trim is designed to aid visibility when light is low.

The NRS CFD Dog Life Jacket suits dog owners who want a canine-shaped flotation option for swimming, boating, or rafting, with an adjustable side-buckle fit and visibility details. Its small teal version combines flotation and harness functions in a USCG-approved design made from 420-denier ripstop nylon.
