Niwaes Rabbit Cage Floor Mats, 24-Pack Grey PVC Pads for Wire Cages

Niwaes Rabbit Cage Mat is a washable PVC floor-pad set designed to cover wire cage bottoms and give rabbits and other small pets a softer resting surface, with 24 interlocking mats measuring 12 x 12 in (30 cm) each.

• 24 grey PVC mats — arrange them across a wire cage floor to create a resting surface.
• Soft, thickened PVC with resistance to abrasion and breakage — helps shield paws from direct contact with wire.
• 1/2 in (1.27 cm) holes and raised floating points — help clear waste and add grip.
• Interlocking edges and cuttable pieces — join or trim mats to suit different cage layouts.
• Included ties — secure the pads to wire mesh.
• Washable with water — makes routine cleaning straightforward.

Wire cage floors can put small animals’ feet in direct contact with the bars. These pads are made to provide a softer place to rest while still allowing waste to be cleared through the mat’s holes. Their modular design is suited to cages with different floor layouts and to pet owners who want a mat that can be adapted to the available space.

How do the mats help protect paws on a wire cage floor?

The Niwaes mats create a soft surface between a pet’s feet and the wire beneath. Their PVC construction is thickened and designed to resist breakage and abrasion, while the holes help remove feces and urine from the pad. Raised floating points provide a non-slip function, and the hole size is designed to help prevent feet from becoming trapped.

• Use them as a resting surface over a wire cage bottom.
• The perforated design supports waste removal while the mat covers the wire.

How can I fit the mats to a different cage size?

The Niwaes Rabbit Cage Mat pieces connect through interlocking edges, and the mats can be cut and joined to fit different cage dimensions. Included ties attach the pads to wire mesh, making them suitable for most types of small-animal cages. Before arranging them, measure the cage floor and compare its layout with each 12 x 12 in (30 cm) mat.

• Connect edges to cover a broader floor area.
• Trim pieces when a cage layout calls for a different fit.

Which pets and cleaning routine are these mats suited to?

The Niwaes mats are intended for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, kittens, and puppies, as well as other small pets in compatible cages. They can be cleaned with water. The set contains 24 pads and ties for fastening them to the wire mesh; the pads are designed for cage floors rather than use as a standalone enclosure.

• Suitable for most types of small-animal cages.
• Grey mats can be arranged or removed individually for cage-floor coverage.

These mats suit pet owners looking to cover a wire cage bottom with a washable, adaptable resting surface for a rabbit or another small animal. Their interlocking, cuttable format and included mesh ties make them a practical fit for varied cage layouts, while their intended use remains a protective floor covering for wire cages.
