Niteangel Hamster Sand Bath Box, Rectangle Burlywood, Clear Acrylic with Removable Half-Lid

Niteangel Animal Sand-Bath Box is a clear acrylic bathing and digging container for small pets, with a rectangular 12.2 x 8.6 x 4 in (31 x 21.8 x 10.2 cm) design.

• Removable half-lid — helps limit scattered sand while allowing pets to move in and out.
• Transparent acrylic sides — let you watch your pet dig and bathe.
• Room for burrowing — gives small pets space to dig in sand.
• Rectangular shape — can sit in a habitat corner.
• Made for hamsters, gerbils, mice, lemmings and similar-sized pets — suits a range of small animals.

Small pets need a dedicated place for sand bathing and digging. This box creates a separate sand area inside a suitable cage, tank or terrarium, so you can watch your pet use it and clean the sand area without shifting the surrounding habitat bedding or decorations.

Which small pets is this sand-bath box for?

Niteangel Animal Sand-Bath Box is recommended for hamsters, gerbils, mice, lemmings and other pets of a similar size. Its roomy interior gives them space to burrow in sand and take the kind of sand bath associated with keeping fur glossy, clean and dust-free. It provides a dedicated spot for these activities within the habitat.

• Suitable for small pets of similar size to the animals named above.
• Provides an area for both sand bathing and digging.

Will it fit in my cage or tank?

The box measures 12.2 in long by 8.6 in wide, with a height of 4 in. Its rectangular footprint is designed to fit into a corner, including in Niteangel Bigger World Series hamster cages. For other cages, DIY tanks or terrariums, measure the available floor space against these dimensions before choosing a spot.

• Allow space for the full rectangular footprint in your habitat.
• Suitable for other habitats when the available space fits the box.

How does the lid and acrylic design work?

The clear acrylic construction gives you a view of your pet inside, and the removable half-lid helps reduce scattered sand while helping your pet get in and out. Acrylic is easier to clean than wood and is less likely to retain odor, making the box a separate area to lift out for cleaning and sand changes.

• Lift the box out to clean or change its sand without moving habitat bedding or decorations.
• Lid styles include birch-wood and MDF-board options; MDF-board lid surfaces are waterproof.

This box suits small-pet owners who want a visible, dedicated sand-bathing and digging area that fits within their habitat. It is intended for hamsters, gerbils, mice, lemmings and similar-sized pets, with a defined footprint to compare with the available space.
