A compact aquarium can bring a freshwater display into a room without taking up the footprint of a larger tank. This minilake aquarium is made for small freshwater fish and aquascaped layouts, with clear glass that keeps the view of the setup at the center. Its stated capacity is 5 gallons (18.9 L), and the rectangular dimensions help you compare the tank with the space you have in mind before setting up.

What can I keep in the minilake aquarium?

The tank is intended for bettas, shrimp, snails, and small freshwater fish. It is also designed for planted freshwater setups, so you can arrange aquatic plants alongside driftwood, rocks, and decorations. Choose it for a small freshwater display rather than assuming it is intended for a different type of aquatic setup.

• Suitable setup type: freshwater.
• Named inhabitants: bettas, shrimp, snails, and small freshwater fish.
• Layout elements: aquatic plants, driftwood, rocks, and decorations.

What does the rimless design add to the display?

The rimless form leaves the aquarium’s view unobstructed, while ultra-clear glass is made to present the contents with exceptional clarity and without distortion. This combination puts the aquatic layout and its details in view from the front, making the tank suited to display in a home or office as well as in an aquascape.

• Clean-edged presentation without a surrounding rim.
• Clear viewing of the freshwater layout.

How is the aquarium constructed?

Glass panels are precision-sealed, with reinforced silicone seams forming the leak-resistant construction. The 5 mm glass provides the transparent walls for viewing the aquarium, while the sealed seams join the panels into the tank.

• Panel material: glass.
• Seam construction: reinforced silicone.

The minilake aquarium suits shoppers planning a compact freshwater display for a betta, shrimp, snails, or small freshwater fish, and anyone who wants to feature plants and hardscape in a clear, rimless tank. Its defined footprint helps with placement planning, and its intended freshwater use makes it a fit for small freshwater aquascapes.
