Meilzer Dog Snuffle Mat, Orange 15.4-Inch Interactive Foraging Toy

The Meilzer dog snuffle mat is an interactive feeding toy designed to encourage natural foraging and slower eating, with flower-shaped food-hiding areas and a 15.4 × 15.4 in (39.1 × 39.1 cm) spread size.

• Food-hiding flower design — gives dogs a foraging activity that engages their nose and brain.
• Flower heart covers small food chunks and the flower can hide larger pieces — accommodates different treat sizes.
• Non-slip cloth base and carrying strap — helps keep the mat in place and makes it easier to carry or secure.
• Eco-friendly polar fleece — provides the mat’s fabric construction.
• Machine- or hand-washable — gives you two ways to clean the mat.

For dogs that finish meals quickly or benefit from an engaging food activity, a snuffle mat turns feeding into a search. Meilzer’s flower design lets you hide food within the mat, so your pet uses its nose to find it rather than eating directly from an open surface. It is made for interactive feeding at home and is portable for taking along.

How does the Meilzer snuffle mat make feeding interactive?

The mat mimics the natural search for food, encouraging dogs to sniff and forage for hidden pieces. This gives their nose and brain a task during feeding and is designed to help slow down fast eating. Meilzer also describes the activity as keeping dogs entertained and relaxed.

• Use the flower sections to conceal food for a sniff-and-search game.
• The flower can hide larger pieces, while its flower heart covers small chunks.

What size pets and breeds does this mat suit?

Meilzer’s mat spreads to 15.4 × 15.4 in (39.1 × 39.1 cm) and is intended for dogs, cats, and rabbits of any age. The product title highlights small- and medium-breed dogs; the stated limitation is that it is not for aggressive chewers of large breeds.

Its base is made from non-slip cloth to help prevent the mat from moving easily on the floor. A strap on one side can be used to carry the mat or attach it to a table leg or another item to help stop a dog from moving it. Its shrinkable size supports portability.

• Compare the 15.4 × 15.4 in (39.1 × 39.1 cm) spread size with the space where your pet will use it.
• Choose it for foraging play, not for aggressive chewing by large-breed dogs.

How do you clean the Meilzer dog snuffle mat?

Wash it by hand or in a machine. The mat is made from eco-friendly polar fleece and is described as durable, with cleaning options intended to make routine care straightforward.

• Hand washing is an available cleaning method.
• Machine washing is also an available cleaning method.

The Meilzer snuffle mat suits pet owners looking for a portable food-foraging activity for dogs, cats, or rabbits, especially when a dog eats quickly and needs an engaging way to search for food. Its flower-shaped hiding areas, non-slip base, and washable polar fleece make it a defined choice for supervised feeding play; it is not intended for aggressive chewers of large breeds.
