Manruta ISO Pet ID Microchips are 20 miniature RFID identification chips for identifying very small animals, each measuring 1.25 x 7 mm and designed to be read by FDX-B scanners.
Manruta microchips provide an identification method for animal management and potential reunification if a pet is lost. After implantation, register the chip’s ID number in an online database so the identifier can be associated with your animal. The compact size is intended for very small animals; choosing a chip size that suits the animal is important.
This size is intended for small fish, mice, hamsters, snakes, frogs, pigeons and other very small animals. Manruta’s sizing guidance assigns cats and small puppies to a 1.4 x 8 mm chip instead, so compare the animal with the recommended size before choosing. For a larger animal, the guidance gives different size options.
Any FDX-B scanner or reader can read these chips. Their stated operating frequency is 134.2 kHz, and they comply with the international ISO 11784/11785 FDX-B standard. Each chip carries a unique ID number, allowing an individual identifier to be registered for the animal.
Register the chip’s ID number online after implantation to associate the identifier with your pet. Manruta recommends the Animal ID Pet Care App for registration. Its database is linked to major search engines for worldwide coverage and offers 24/7 support, as described for that registration service.
These chips are suited to owners and animal managers identifying very small animals who need an individual RFID ID that can be scanned by FDX-B equipment. Their 1.25 x 7 mm format is intended for very small animals, rather than the larger size options recommended for cats, small puppies and larger animals.
