• Larger toys are recommended for aggressive chewers or heavier dogs — helps guide size choice.
• Mammoth Pet Products has made dog toys for breeds and sizes since 1995 — a brand with a long history in dog toys.

This rope toy is made for dogs who enjoy an activity they can share with a person or engage with on their own. Its ball-and-handle form suits interactive play, while the rope construction also allows solo chewing. The medium size and stated weight range help owners choose it for a dog’s build and play style.

What kinds of play does the monkey fist toy support?

The toy is designed for tug-of-war, tossing, catching and pulling, as well as solo chewing. During a shared session, the rope can be pulled between dog and person or tossed for the dog to catch. For independent play, it can be offered as a chew toy. The design is intended to support hours of interactive playtime.

• Use it for people-and-dog tug-of-war.
• Toss it for catching and pulling play.
• It can also be used for solo chewing.

What is the rope made from?

The toy uses cotton-poly yarns sourced from North America, including the USA and Mexico, and finished with sturdy knots. Those materials and knots form the rope body and its monkey fist shape. The dental-floss feature is formulated with natural beeswax and mint; during play, it helps freshen breath and control tartar. This combines a rope toy for interactive activity with a floss feature in the same toy.

• The yarn blend is cotton-poly.
• The rope is finished with sturdy knots.
• The dental floss includes natural beeswax and mint.

This Mammoth Pet Products rope toy suits owners looking for a medium option for dogs in the stated weight range, especially for shared tug and fetch sessions alongside solo chewing. For aggressive chewers or heavier dogs, Mammoth recommends choosing a larger dog toy. Its 20-inch rope, knotted monkey fist ball and handle provide a defined format for interactive play.
