M2cbridge Reptile Hide Cave and Basking Platform, Black Step Ledge with Climbing Surface

M2cbridge Reptile Hide Resting Step Ledge is an eco-polyresin basking platform and cave for reptiles, amphibians, and aquarium animals, with a textured climbing top and a smooth interior hide.

• Textured, rock-style top — gives reptiles a surface to climb and bask on.
• Enclosed cave with a smooth interior — provides a place to rest and hide.
• Multiple entrance and exit holes — allow animals to move through the hideout.
• Eco polyresin construction — creates a lifelike rock appearance in an aquarium or habitat.
• Suitable for freshwater and saltwater aquariums — works in either aquarium environment.

This step ledge combines a basking area with an enclosed hiding space, giving habitat animals more than one way to use the same piece. It is designed for reptiles that climb to bask and seek shelter, as well as aquatic animals that swim through or hide among aquarium décor.

What are the dimensions and opening size?

The ledge measures 3.8 inches (9.652 cm) high, 9.5 inches (24.13 cm) wide, and 7 inches (17.78 cm) deep. Its opening measures 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) high by 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter, so compare the opening with the animal that will use the cave.

• Overall size: H 3.8 inches × W 9.5 inches × D 7 inches.
• Opening, inner measurements: H 2.5 inches × diameter 3 inches.

How can reptiles use the step ledge and cave?

Reptiles can climb onto the simulated rock surface to bask, while the cave offers a sheltered resting place. The surface is rough for scratching, and the inside is smooth. This design suits animals that use both an exposed platform and a hide within their habitat.

• Made for climbing up to the top and resting inside the cave.
• The hideout is intended to help reduce stress by providing a hiding place.

Which animals and aquariums is this hideout for?

M2cbridge’s step ledge is intended for small reptiles and pocket pets, amphibians, fish, and crustaceans. Its entrances and exits create routes for climbing, slithering, or swimming through, and the piece is safe for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It is inspired by natural rock and inspected with pet safety in mind.

• Examples include geckos, bearded dragons, turtles, tortoises, lizards, snakes, and ball pythons.
• Also suitable for consideration with axolotls, loaches, fish, crayfish, shrimp, and hamsters.

This hideout suits keepers looking to add a basking step and sheltered cave in one piece for small habitat animals or aquarium inhabitants. Its rock-style climbing surface, interior hide, and multiple openings serve animals that climb, rest, or swim through their surroundings.
