Labra Dog Rear Leg Hock Joint Compression Wrap is an adjustable medium brace designed to support a dog’s hind leg around the hock joint, not the knee.
Dogs with weak or aging hind legs, a healing injury, or irritated skin may benefit from targeted support and coverage. This wrap is made for use during recovery and around a dog’s more active hours; its placement and removal routine help guide when and how to use it.
It wraps around the hind-leg hock joint, the area above the paw, rather than the knee. For a dog recovering from an ACL tear, this brace provides support at the hock; it is not a knee brace.
For recovery, bandage the injured leg first, then wrap it with the brace. For a senior dog, put it on before the dog’s most active hours and remove it every 2–3 hours so the leg can breathe.
The wrap is intended to protect hot spots, lick granulomas, elbow hygromas, and pressure sores. By covering sensitive areas, it helps limit licking and scratching and is intended to promote faster healing while shielding skin from further irritation and damage.
The Labra brace suits senior dogs needing hind-leg support and dogs whose hock area needs coverage during recovery. It is intended for the rear-leg hock rather than knee support, with a measure-before-sizing fit and scheduled breaks for the leg to breathe.
Q: Does the Labra dog hock brace support the knee?
A: No. The Labra dog hock brace wraps around the rear-leg hock joint, not the knee; it is not a knee brace.
Q: How often should I remove the Labra dog hock brace?
A: Remove the Labra dog hock brace every 2–3 hours to allow the leg to breathe.
